Hassan: Mangesh Yadav could have been the better choice instead of Abhinandan Singh. Looks like he has good pace. Was taken down by a good batter this over. Too early to judge.

Sara: "The question I keep seeing everywhere is about the pitch. When wickets fall, people say it's a bowler-friendly pitch. When batsmen score runs, suddenly it's a batting paradise. Can someone from Cricinfo explain in simple words what an ideal pitch actually looks like? Or is there really something called a neutral pitch that treats both batsmen and bowlers fairly?" It can be subjective at times. People make calls on different basis. Think looking for patterns is how you do it. This pitch has offered seam movement

This pitch has offered seam movement a couple of times, a couple of balls have skidded but the bounce has been more or less even. This is slightly favouring batters I'd say.

Romario Shepherd to Heinrich Klaasen, FOUR, replica of the previous shot!

Romario Shepherd to Heinrich Klaasen, FOUR, yet another boundary. Romario Shepherd goes full around off, Heinrich Klaasen goes deep inside the crease and plays a well-timed off-drive. Beats the fielder inside the circle comfortably and finds the fence with ease

Kaushik has an interesting update from the ground - This messaging from behind the boundary is really interesting. Tim David fielding at long on (for Klaasen) and right in front of the boundary ran all the way mid-wicket to pass Patidar a message. All in the middle of an over! Proper sprint.

The message is likely to have been in to bring Shepherd because Suyash kept warming up at that end previously. Maybe he may come from the other end

Don't know if Venkatesh Iyer will get a chance to play. Maybe against KKR.
