When has Mukta said its a feminist show??? Or any of the characters are feminist???

She mentions (internalized) patriarchy and not feminism in her post. Related concepts but not the same.

Why are people associating Muktas personal beliefs to what she writes for the show?

I dont remember Mannat ever being called a feminist by makers.

Neither do I remember Mannat being defended in the name of feminism.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Have you seen Ayesha's interviews during SS track in ghum? She was struggling to even keep up a straight face in the interviews. She even expressed quite wistfully that she is there to see how Sai's character ends. That time also I expressed that is it fair to the actor who has given so much to the show? Leads carry most weight of the show do we agree? They are promised meatier roles only to be senselessly written later. Would Ayesha have signed this show if they had this kind of story in their mind? She signed because it is a journey of a chef. They use contracts and all to bind them and senselessly write their characters.

I am not writing this because of that talli dance, yes it disappointed me. I have not been watching the episodes. I saw the BTS and read the updates. Lately, the other female characters pisses me so much that the central character is losing its hold. She is a goddamn chef but that is not in the focus anywhere. There was little chef competition that too was dusted. Didnt they show the promo based on this event? Then why are they not showing it. Why are they repeatedly cheating the audience. I genuinely wanted to give a chance to the show after leap because it looked promising though they copied from other shows. If not originality, atleast write the scenes well so I can see my fav actress. Write the show for the FL based on whose name and profession the show is! At this point, there is nothing chef based. Both initial promo and leap promos are bluffs. And when the producer and writers are active on SM, and given feedback why are they not taking it seriously. I want everyone on X to write to mukta that her writers suck. If they only care about TRP then why are they replying to online fans. Like someone said, they are rage baiting. Such people are writing shows and producing. No maturity.

Haha. She should stop giving gyan :) She has right to give any gyan if she is showing something valuable in her show. Tell me moor, dont you get pissed off seeing such female characters (not mannat) in the show. Even in your distant reality do you see such women at the same time in the same house? And being active on SM, why is she not taking feedback. If she is only concerned about money making and TRP audience, why is she replying back to online crowd. Hypocrisy much.

She should not talk about patriarchy also. She is not showing it in the show either because she never understood the reality nor the fantasy.

I do agree. She shouldnt respond nor defend. She gets provoked easily... and I am sure she must be getting tons of messages but she chooses to answer only few.

What I meant was feminism or no feminism ... it was never mentioned in the show as such... atleast I don't remember any interviews from makers where they have said it publically.

So why fuss over what she (as a person) posts on her personal account and link to the fiction she is a producer of????

Every producer should be worried about TRP and thats why they dish out content that works... After all there are 100 more people on set (and not just those in front of camera) whose livelihood is dependent on this.

They will have to show the content which works... even if they agree or not. Also they do take feedback. If you watch regularly you would notice that some valid points are addressed in the episodes.

That apart, my personal peeve has always been how they made Vik such a gullible fellow. I understand the pure heart and innocence of his.... but for how long will he be butchered just to keep vamps active???

Kabhi to khud se kuch kare na vo... let him fail like Mannat fails.... but at least show him making some efforts...

Bas kuch lollipop scenes dedo... and people would go Gaga over it.. so why would makers bother yaar??? Junta itna main hi khush hai 🤦‍♀️

Forget Mannat for a second... this man is living with these 4 vamps for years now... they discuss everything openly in SM... how has he never overheard anything??? Wheres his situational awareness???? Why is his phone easy to hack????His redemption can happen independently right??? Why does the push has to come from Mannat????

Even now.. (Mukta mentioned this BTW) ... why is Vik marrying Y??? When clearly he has feelings for Mannat??? Isn't that injustice to Y who as per him is a good person???? Why string her along??? And its no more influenced by Mannats marital status as he has accepted DM equation in his mind.

When will he choose his own happiness and refuse to be pushed into another wrong decision just to keep someone happy?

These are the questions for makers and writers ... not audience or his fans .... but if I ask them I am termed as Vik hater???? Vikrant is the character they have written... so while I do agree to some of her points... I dont agree that Vik has committed 100s of mistakes .... yahi makers to likh rahe hai na uski 100 galtiyan... thats not fair....

Rest I agree with what she has written for Mannat and Vikrant and their current situation/characterization.

What does it make DK if in his mind he is beginning to get attracted to Mannat but because he doesn’t intend to act on it, it’s given a pass? Mannat is clueless about his changed feelings. Acc to her they have brought up the child together and will be together for the child. Not married together. She believes and is grateful that he has sacrificed his life for them.
I feel increasingly uncomfortable because they are behaving the same domesticated way but he is cheating her with his changed feelings.

This is what I guess is the crux of the matter. Why is Mannat getting flak only?

But Mukta need not justify I definitely agree. She is obliged to keep the show running and show episodes 7 days a week. Her team of writers is not able to give anything better; though it is still the top fiction shown on Colors post Nagin. Why make it all high and mighty when its not?? It’s only about the cash registers ringing. Then why respond ?

Mannat is not flirting with Vik on daily basis. Rather she keeps her distance... it was meant in this particular context of the scene where Mannat is pretending to be drunk to trigger vamp camp.
