Season 2 surprised me. After seeing him as Shivaay, I was like how can he play Ram? That bondu, happy go lucky guy ? Nakuul did a great job. Disliked Priya many times though. It was rare to repeat pairs in itv, but Naks& Disha still had their charm!

I loved both S1 and S2 for BALH still one of my favs in ITV! I have a cousin who doesnt watch ITV at all but loved BALH S1. Both seasons the show went down the hill after the generational leap. Ram-Sakshi are evergreen. Nakuul-Disha also did really well. I think Ekta purposely roped an already popular couple for S2 to reduce the risk, like the fresh pairing didnt work in S4. Apparently she wanted to cast Divyanka-Karan initially but then one of them refused so she went with Nakuul-Disha.
I connected with S2 well cause I loved how they showed Ram and Priya as a couple and for once we had a strong headed female lead and emotional pookie male lead. Nakuul as Ram is really underrated ppl still know him as Shivaay but for me he is known as Ram. But the show became really boring after the leap so I stopped watching few epis after the leap.

Balh 2 is a show i binge a lot

Priya in s2 was very kashaf coded, and it was good to see her wanting to be self reliant like I will wash my own dishes, I will take the cab etc. their story progressed nicely too. And like you said ram was pookie, emotional sensitive man. It was nice to see.

I usually dislike kid leap in a show but in this I liked it. And I really liked they didn't make ram kabir singh, he was so respectful to Priya thinking she cheated on him. It was nice to see him angry and hurt, also trying to be nice to her and the kid.

Some of the scenes of BALH2 were so beautiful. Like the way Nakuul portrayed the loneliness of Ram in his own family like damn smiley32

The other day when they showed Gomzy feeling left out in his own family when he saw Karan-Nandini doing the rituals mujhe BALHS2 ka Ram ka yaad agaya tha! I felt so sorry for Ram that guy did everything for his family but never really got valued by them. His real family was Priya, Pihu and his friends. Ram was however lucky to have some loyal friends like Brinda and Ajay.

I loved Priya the moment she hated rain smiley37 ITV so obsessed with having FL loving baarish and ML hating it let the role reverse for once smiley36 Disha was really good in this show too she played Priya’s character naturally well.

Kid wala leap is one of the most cliche tracks in ITV but I still love it cause I can see cute kids then smiley37 I loved the casting of Pihu too, she had Ram’s eyes and Priya’s chubiness. But the story of the show just went nowhere after the leap, only liked the few episodes cause of Ram and Pihu’s nok jhoks

S4 I really tried my best to watch firstly timings didnt work and secondly it just didnt had the appeal though Harshad’s character seemed really complex and interesting from whatever clips i watched

Yeah.lol no rain loving no nonsense pat pat bolne wali priya was great. And her anger that girl has to marry was so real..and once she fell for ram her fear that ram would cheat like her father and she won't get her happy family was so real. I really liked the acting and characterization. Ignoring the kid leap priya was very practical. No unnecessary rona. Even kid leap she was very practical, didn't pile on ram, no emotional blackmail. And I liked the twist Pihu didn't like ram lol. Very different cause other shows have that kid father dil ka rishta trope

Shivi used to say sautela bhai and it was so sad to see Ram all beaten down. Rams mother that actress was awesome too, meethi churi

Adi vrinda were very cute , their baby baby ❤️🤣 i liked priya shouting on them post leap that if they were that good friends why they never tried to expose rams mother. Ram was also very blind but the friends were very passive

I didn't like pihu but thik hai

S1 mai Anurag was so freaking annoyingI felt like slapping him whenever he came on screen Real queen was Komolika I hated they ruined Komolika in S2 Both S1 and S2 couples had good chemistry though.
