Guys, Pursuit of Jade is totally addictive kind drama. Just watch the first five episodes, and after that, you’ll end up watching all the episodes no matter what. The acting is really good, the cinematography is amazing, the chemistry is on top, and the hero n heroine is absolutely fantastic.
Zhang Linghe’s catwalk is becoming really famous these days. I think there’s a song called ‘My Dear Superstar’ where his walk looks absolutely amazing. And in Pursuit of Jade, he has done an incredible job.
I know, guys, costume dramas might not be your thing, but you can at least give it a try once. Personally, I liked the first half more — when the hero hasn’t revealed his identity yet. The part where the girl rescues him and they live together in the village, and then how he starts helping her — all of that feels really interesting and engaging.
Ps. When the heroine finds out the hero’s real identity and slaps him — I honestly found that scene so funny Like, why did she hit him, yaar? I felt bad for him!
