Also Ranchi - Jamshedpur region or should I say, probably Jharkhand on a whole is so unrepresented in Hindi shows they thought it would bring in novelty and also allow them to get away with bloopers unlike if it had been set in say a well known region often see like Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad etc.

There’s no doubt that BJP wants to form the government there in the future so are making sure that they start promoting the state in mainstream and this is the beginning. Don’t forget they’re in elections mode always so elections maybe 3 or so years away but work begins now.

will the spin off start airing today as a separate show or will it be starting Monday

No clue if it’s ending but maybe they will shift the show to a later slot, they’re airing episodes longer than 40 minutes currently for over a month now and the channel probably wants to reduce the same to the normal duration which means they need another show. They had nothing ready to launch and they didn’t want to launch a big budget new show now, not when IPL is ready to knock at the doorstep in about a week. I know this is late night slot and it ideally seems like the channels would believe it will be a safe bet but they probably don’t want to take chances regardless and so this is the stopgap arrangement. We will know per ratings and well.. once IPL is near its completion when new lineup is announced.

I was born and brought up at a place just 20 kms away from Jamshedpur. If a factory is set in Jamshedpur then most of the workers will be Biharis and Adivasis and will be talking in bhojpuri. So I am not sure if the writer belongs to that region as they got the first thing wrong

Technically didn’t it start yesterday? Even if it starts on Monday it’s crazy considering that they’re announcing it now, the promo may go on air tomorrow and on Monday the show is on air! Maggi will be jealous!

On that note Ranchi has good schools for residential.

Vikas Vidyalaya was a real great one earlier. Many actors including Shekhar Suman have studied there, Later however it's reputation lowered since.

A movie Hip Hip Hurray in 80s was set up in that shooting happening in that school and my school. Deepthi Nawal stayed in my school

My school Bishop Westcott Girls' School (and also our brother concern Bishop Westcott Boys school) is still considered best residential school in region. was established by British over a century ago

But the thing is that there is no famous co ed residential school so if they go genuinely the siblings need to study in different schools

Kyunki is not popular in Bengal and I can guarantee you that BJP is not coming to power in Bengal no matter what they do because of minorities vote bank. Hindu vote gets divided but minorities vote get directed the party which appease them

Most in Jharkhand don't speak Bhojpuri it's more like they converse in Sadri. Even I can't speak that

Bhojpuri is spoken by people from Bihar who migrated here.

I would love if they have some worker greeting Vrinda as Johar madam.

Are you from Adityanagar? Or Chaibasa?
