I'm not here to change someone else's thinking, I just contribute with mine like it should be in a good discussion...and no, I didn't start to insult another member and I'm not against Beginners... however I would call them out when they come with a certain agenda such as the last line of an otherwise quite reasonable first post: "One should hope that what began with Palestine, now Iran continues and next on list are Pakistan and Bangladesh amongst others."

What had been done in Palestine was heinous - from both sides... now Iran again is a war not done for any good...and then what? a likewise heinous war against Pakistan and Bangladesh? For what? From whom? India? Does this member wants that India enters into a war with Pakistan and Bangladesh to "eradicate" (word later used) Islamic extremism/Islam used for a political system (Sharia law)??? All the so-called "awareness" you want to spread, what will it change?making more people haters? And then - like Germans did when Hitler/Goebbels asked in Germany "Do you want total war?"- applaud another war?

I know that change is something that has to start by oneself - it's an unconscious or conscious decision the mind takes with an influence on the emotions. So, I don't worry about my change but more about how the tone and the focus in the first war thread drastically changed when Cynical1 'came on board'.

You aren't the only one, Nathu, who reminds the members here about the bad deeds done by Islamic extremists and what a kind of ennemies they and Pakistan are to India/Indians and I don't have any difficulties to understand the fears/anger/hate. Let us leave it at that - I don't want any dispute about that anymore as we 'are at cross purposes'. I also would like people fighting against extremism (Islamic being o n e), but in another way...and in an h o n e s t way by also looking at the own faults which could lead to extremism.

The history of Germany and Europe is very different from the history of Indian subcontinent.. Many times the west and its media draws this parallel between a supremacist Hitler and a supremacist Hindutva.... Both Islam and Christianity were expansionist in our experience of history.. However Hindus at least in last 1000 years have not done any territorial expansion... In fact their influence has only shrunk - both population wise and territory wise.. While political system of Islam and Christianity were used for proselytization and territorial expansion, Hindutva as a political system is only a defense mechanism to prevent from loosing further land and safeguard our temples and our ways and philosophies of life, which come under continuous threat merely because of our ways of worship is at odds with the monotheists ... While religion being used as a political system - be it Islam or Christianity or Hindutva is true, the end goal they wish to achieve is very different ... Expansion and survival can't be judged with the same yardstick

Hitler is another case as he didn't made Christianism a political base of his government... h i s base was the 'Aryan supremacy' (albeit he physically - and most probably also with Jewish genes - wasn't his propagated example of an Aryan)... he made the Jews the 'Enemy-image' for various reasons/agendas, also used the mentally ill ones and unwanted children as fodder for abominable medical experiments... he duped the youth into his thinking (which got supported by greedy people, the SS agency of surveillance = terror and a well-crafted, manipulating propaganda) and then he wanted territorial expansion...

In different ways, history repeats itself - constantly... because humans are made with a 'default in their machine'...

But still there was still something twisted about Hitler.

He did heinous crimes against a certain group of humanity.

But he was also the one to bring German on the World Map with Volkswagen (People’s Car).

He wanted to take over the Western World and hence he was one of the main player for the events of World War II, but it was him who made people all over the world take German seriously in automobile industry, which has continued since.

You only wrote in your last post that if I stopped wasting my intelligence on hate then that would make you happy. By saying that You are giving the key to your happiness in MY hands. I want you to take control of your own happiness and stop relying on me or others for that. Come on, Just try you can do that! 👍

I think I'm not the right person to reply to that. However the so called 'awareness' i want to spread will shift the responsibility of change from extremists to us normal people. Instead of expecting extremists to change (which they probably won't), us normal people will change ourselves to better protect us from the extremists. Isn't this a better methodology? But, I'm sure you will disagree. No problem from my side. I won't try to change you or your thinking. I'll just change myself in dealing with you.

Well, what can i say, everything is temporary except change. Don't worry about the tone or focus about threads... Thankfully We have mods for that. Why burden yourself with that responsibility. In previous thread too one member was posting unrelated conspiracy theories, epstein files, secret society, Baal and what not. I didn't see you objecting then.

You can see my unedited comment where i said the US did it for themselves for the resources in Iran, but claiming Iran is a victim and holier-than-thou when they themselves committed many crimes in the name of islam also needs to be called out. See? I call out everyone unlike you.

I am glad the tone changed when I came pn board. It’s common courtesy to tag a member when mentioning them. Even when attacking them like you attack me in almost every post of yours.

Yes. Pakistan and Bangladesh will pay for their sins. And I am the one that said they should be next. US DNI confirmed my views just this week. So it’s not like I sit in my ivory tower and imagine these things. You tried to attribute their mass killings of minorities to mass migration. Migration where ? To heaven? So we should be ok to return that favor to those countries - no? We are happy to also say it was mass migration. Whatever floats your boat.

An intelligent exchange can only take place when one accepts the reality of current world problems and biggest one being Islamic extremism and terrorism. Then the next step is identifying who is working hard to solve them. There comes Netahanyu and Modi.

Intelligent conversations cannot happen with people that propagate falsities of hindutva because it suits them amongst other things. Definitely not with people that blame the govt of Afghanistan as terrorist to defend the Pakistan bombing of a hospital there.

But for US to start a war and up-veal the world economy like this isn’t an acceptable or a viable solution.

I may not explicitly call out the extrocities, but I am in no way a supporter where humanity suffers in any form.

I have always maintained that humanity is above all and of utmost importance for the well being of a society and a nation as a whole.
