If it is, then what exactly is it? It can’t be that this son is Nandini’s born from the assault and she never knew about him until recently courtesy of something. Showing that Karan didn’t accept a child of Nandini’s would be weird considering he’s a stepchild accepted by Tulsi, he accepted Bhoomi in S1 and Nandini wanted Tanya’s child even when unborn to not be deprived of Karan as a dad. She accepted Manthan post leap when they met and she didn’t impose herself on him as a mom but iirc they got cordial eventually even if Manthan was always more loyal towards and loved Tanya more and Nandini absolutely understood and respected his feelings for his mother.

Per this season, Parth is made Tanya’s son biologically and has been apparently raised by Nandini with no knowledge whatsoever about who his real mother is.

If he’s supposed to have been raised by KN, we never heard of him. In fact, the opening episode had KN briefly and they disappear later on but even when they do appear, we see them as being considered as parents of 3 kids; not once has anyone else asked a single question about this supposed brother of Parth’s that was raised by KN if that’s the case.

If Gautam Damini have adopted him as is the canon of S1 wherein this son was named Eklavya and played by Akashdeep himself; then too strangely he’s not once been mentioned by anyone. Yesterday when Gautam spoke of winning his family back he mentioned son not sons when he spoke too. If he had adopted this son, then clearly he should have mentioned sons in the plural. In the court scene during Pari’s trial, we saw Tulsi ask Gautam about her grandsons but later they never once implied Gautam has more than one child at all. No one asks him about any other son except for Nakul.

If this son has randomly popped up as an adult born to another woman by Ansh and say he or his mom got in touch with Karan somehow and want to be introduced to the Virani family too why wait for 6 years for the same, if this argument is being had for 6 years? I mean, just going to SN and getting a DNA test done with Mihir would have been proof enough to establish the authenticity of the relationship between this son and the Viranis as Mihir being a paternal grandfather is bound to have passed down his DNA to this son and hence his DNA will be a partial match with this son too. The son and/or his mom don’t need Karan and Nandini’s help to establish their connection with the family.

As it is I doubt that Nandini for all the hate she carries for Ansh in her heart would be the sort to deny a son or daughter of the family their right to know their family and to connect with them regardless of whose child it is; knowing this is exactly what Karan has had to endure in his life. But let’s say this is the case - son and/or his mom approach Karan for help - establish the son is a Virani indeed as being his Kaka/paternal uncle, Karan can get a simple DNA test done to determine whether this is a fake or not too and the results are positive - this is a Virani and specifically one who shares the same DNA in the paternal lineage aka Mihir’s. Karan wants to help him but Nandini doesn’t. Why will the son and/or his mom care to win Nandini’s approval even if she’s against the idea of him getting into the family? At the end of the day it’s common sense, the family will accept their own child regardless of who is against the idea. Yes, given Ansh’s history they might be cautious about a son of his, there’s bound to be unease and hiccups especially when Tulsi’s not just Ansh’s mom but also the one who killed him… still it makes no sense why this should lead to such a huge escalation in the differences between KN that Nandini would threaten Karan with divorce repeatedly. All Karan has to say is that while he respects her sentiments and understands the same, it would still be wrong of him to deny a child his family considering he knows what it’s like a little too well. He’s been in that boat and loathed it. He can appeal to her sense of rational and also simply say her feelings can’t change reality. If Ansh has a son who has asked him to introduce him to his family then he’s bound to help his nephew, not as he’s got any soft spot for Ansh in his heart or any brotherly affection towards him but because it would be unfair to the child to do so, not to mention his family and in particular his parents deserve to know they’ve another grandson. He can’t punish an innocent child for the sins of his father just because he’s Ansh’s. Nandini may be angry for a while and I know she’s hotheaded but she’s not so thick as to not see the merit of Karan’s decision in 6 years and understand he’s right. She doesn’t have to like this development but it’s the right thing to do even if it makes her uncomfortable. As it is no one will expect her to be very warm and motherly towards any child of Ansh’s unless he/she was born of her womb, in which case Nandini wouldn’t be even having this argument with Karan.

So I am just not sure how they can shoehorn in a son of Ansh’s here as the cause of this conflict between KN.

i think the best excuse if the issues of KN is related to Ansh's child will be that it is Nandani's child and somehow Nandani doesn't know it. Could be she hated the child as it reminded him of that horrific part. Even when she tried caring for him, she couldn't so Karan takes the hard stance for both Nandani and the child and informs her that he died while taking him elsewhere to be raised. Where he visits her and meets. Probably Nandani heard him addressing Karan as dad or something and hence thinks he is cheater.

Could be a very solid reason why he can't leave the US. Maybe he moved to US because it was difficult for him to hide the truth in India. He knew family wouldn't understand and let Ansh' aakhri nishani go, so he didn't tell anyone..

By the way If this child is to be the third angle between Vaishnavi Parth then I guess he would be the end game because he is more famous

it can be principle vs fear. hes hurt nandini cant see the baby is karan part 2, and this time as a parent wants to do things differently. bt nandini wants past buried and no like to it. she has seen this long lost son return ala ansh. she thinks its ansh part 2
