Those can be hardly called heels or wedges they were small stools have you got to the scene where she loses one of her shoes and he picks it up for her???? Damn I had to pause to process that shoe

Yes yes that scene always cracks me up, what kinda fashion they gave to her ugh

I cant believe she is 40+ in RL and has a child. she looks late 20s or early 30s for sure.

My review

They were inspiring. They found each other at there darkest period and fall in love while achieving their dreams. ML loved FL more and from starting. FL's love wasnt that convincing but still nice couple they made/

The acting was so realistic especially ML, from a boy who came from a province village, going to the city and how he adjusted etc, It's so relatable. I loved how we got past and present plot, the past was so beautifully potrayed. she was so kind, protective of ML, yes she was controlling too but she wanted the best for her "brother" He was like a puppy, following all her guidance.

Also, this show has lots of kissing and some in starting (forced kiss) but you will know why he kissed her like that so dont giveup

No doubt the series is really good, but the problem is that there’s too much violence. It’s a bit uncomfortable for me to watch. However, overall the chemistry between the leads is amazing, and there are a lot of funny scenes too

Agreed! I had one problem or another with ZLH’s other costume dramas but this one just hits the nail for me in terms of romantic plot lines. I watch a lot of costume dramas so I was less surprised with the massacre related scenes (though I was still hoping for a different outcome). Is this your first costume drama?

P.s : I don’t have Netflix subscription so it was cheaper for me to just renew my subscription.

Just realized 2 of my suggestions somehow have been younger man-older woman romance there's this one drama which works the other way but it's from the same direction team as Speed and Love

Anyways I watched “what if”cdrama 3 episodes but damn its too messy and confusing and such crazy love triangle so i dropped it

That's kinda a parallel world setting. What If she chose to stay in her hometown? What If she went to the capital?

In Between is also messy! Starts with a man chasing rich girls to elevate his lifestyle

Costume dramas are not something I like that much. The reason is that in modern dramas, I really enjoy hearing the Chinese language, but in costume dramas it feels a bit different to me. However, in Pursuit of Jade, the Chinese language felt more like a modern drama, which is why I watched it. But there is a lot of fighting and violence in it, so I feel a bit uncomfortable and end up skipping those scenes while watching.

Before this, I watched The Princess and the Werewolf and Fated Heart. But obviously, I watched them by skipping the fighting scenes. Even a simple push turns into something extreme—if the hero, heroine, or anyone gets hit, they start bleeding from the mouth. It makes me wonder how many bones must have broken inside
