Yes seems so, they brought back Gautam with a proper track. Sumeet was actually sidelined in S1, so his apprehensions were fine, and makers overcame that..

I although have the issue that they did it at the cost of Karan, I mean Gautam's issues could have been the insecurities, but they are repeatedly bringing and making Karan the cause of it.

I am feeling Hiten shouldn't have come post leap

I feel that’s because he didn’t want to rile up Mithali and put the custody arrangement in jeopardy. Woh sanki hai, patha nahi what she might end up doing if he said he married Munni out of love.

If Gautam is insecure with Karan then Mihir and Tulsi are responsible for it not Karan. Like Tulsi accepted that she showed extra care for Karan so that he does not feel cornered for being Mandira's son. Similarly Mihir is always appreciating Karan in front of Gautam because of his achievements. So unknowingly Mihir and Tulsi made Gautam feel he is less important than Karan.

Rithik could have simply dodged the question. He need not justify to Mitali why he is marrying Munni
