Nobody can pick an underperforming player and justify it to the masses when it comes t India. What I meant was sometimes a more qualified player/ better player for the conditions gets dropped because of these politics.

Yes, I understood what you meant in the first place and I am 100% sure that would have been happening, because it happens everywhere. You have to be damn lucky to get a place where there's no politics at all, which hardly happens.

I'm not sure how many people would agree with me but why was Shreyas dropped in WC squad ? Yes, he had injury concerns in early 2025. But he's a decent player. He was dropped because uska Gambhir ke saath nahi banti. That might not be the only reason, but it's *also a reason*. India has won, so no questions right now.

It's a bitter sweet situation with Indian team. You cannot justify to remove the people already in the team unless they are not performing at all.

Mera toh khayaal hai, India should represent India A, B, and C teams along with the main team in every other tournament. That way many deserving talents will get more chances and it will increase the flair in the tournaments. What say?
