He didn’t have a single scene with her. He was missing from the Sangeet until the scene where Vaishnavi comes with Tulsi and Munni aired. It’s absolutely wild that the writers, directors… no one is thinking how absurd and awful this comes across as.

She could have shot him on the leg but the thing is she knew her son was too far gone. If he was spared he wouldn’t stop going after Nandini, not because he loved her but because he felt he had owned her. He could do with her as he pleased.

She also knew that her son had Vishal, Shobha’s husband killed to save himself.

Ansh had to die because he wouldn’t have stopped until he had died; he would have recovered post a bullet injury to the leg and with the help of his adoptive father he would have gotten to Nandini one way or another. It would have been impossible to keep her safe forever. Nandini might be either abducted and abused all over again by him repeatedly as a slave… or she would kill herself to stop the ordeal and escape from his clutches.

Ansh wouldn’t stop from even harming his own family to get Nandini. He had proven his selfishness could make him kill an innocent man who happened to be his BIL, the sister who had done him no harm and was nice to him. Yet he didn’t care. He would have tried to get Karan killed too and perhaps succeeded in the attempt as well eventually.

At that moment Tulsi knew she could spare her son and injure him but she would perhaps be signing on the death warrants of god knows how many people in the process. She knew she could deny Vishal, Shobha and Payal the justice they deserved or she could put an end to this madness and stop the demon she had inadvertently created and birthed by killing him to spare Nandini from more torture in the future, likely her life and Karan’s as well as any others that Ansh wouldn’t have hesitated from taking if he was spared and allowed to live.

I read and hear this argument often about how she could have shot Ansh in the leg or arm and let the cops do their job. But I never understand how is it that people don’t seem to grasp that Ansh had already assaulted Nandini once, they were divorced but he still went after her and was literally trying to kidnap her so as to make sure that she didn’t get together with anyone else but him. He even used crude words like he had marked her as his by being in her body and so now she was his until her last breath.

You don’t give monsters like these a second chance. You kill them and that’s exactly what Tulsi did. Tulsi birthed Ansh but in that moment she knew she couldn’t afford to think like his mother but a woman, a woman who has also had a daughter of her own and what she would do if it was Shobha there and not Nandini. If her hands couldn’t tremble to kill the person who dared hurt Shobha so, then they shouldn’t when it came to Nandini too. After all, she’d vowed to love and take care of her like a daughter; she had already failed to protect her once and given her the trauma of a lifetime, she couldn’t fail her again.

💯. You absolutely spoke my heartsmiley32. Many people always tries to bring legal pov but honestly I think about morality and what's right. If tulsi would have left him alive it would have been injustice and danger to each and every victims and tulsi's family. Hence he deserved to die and I am glad that the deed was done by the mother who birthed himsmiley27. He was a monster and a living threat hence he deserved to be finished once and for all. I loved what tulsi did heresmiley32smiley27

Yes, the Mihir one is crazy but the other ones are not so unusual. Some of them not exactly the same but similar ones I have heard and seen. About the Mihir one - Ekta couldn’t make Tulsi with someone else or follow the original story about a widow marrying someone, so she decided to put the gun on Mihir’s shoulder to do everything just as Amar’s said in his recent interview I watched. He said Tulsi has certain image among the audience. So makers thought it won’t be accepted for her to be with anyone and instead decided to do what they wanted through Mihir’s character this season. As for the first trap or Mandira, that was Ronit and to justify brining Hiten. So ekta felt like doing whatever she wanted since the OG ml was out and audience didn’t care as much what was done to the ml character. Also I doubt most of this season’s audience remembers S1. I myself didn’t know about the other women until recently or even that Gautam married 3 times. All this time I thought he was always only married to Damini. So for a lot of audience this S2 storylines are probably new and first time

Brothers don’t marry each other’s exes in Indian culture. We call the wife of the elder brother Bhabhi and she’s akin to a mother figure and to be respected as such.

The wife of the younger brother is supposed to be treated as one’s own younger sister or even a daughter if the age gap is large enough. This extends to even cousins and their spouses. So no, it doesn’t sit well in the way Indian culture functions.

We even call random strangers Bhai or Bhabhi or Didi or Kaki or Kaka when asking directions or something. So this is absolute filth in the way regular families in India function. It’s absolutely not acceptable to marry your brother or sister’s ex.

Morality is not required for monsters and that’s exactly what Ansh was.

A monster who doesn't belongs to humanity doesn't deserve to livesmiley21. Honestly he deserved to be burnt alive for what all he didsmiley35. Didn't like the viranis villainizing tulsi for thatsmiley11. Tulsi should have never forgiven them easily for treating her like that and getting her jailedsmiley21

God knows. I really couldn’t help but think about how Nandini reminded me of Akshay Kumar from Hera Pheri today though.

He threatened to leave the rental place if Sunil Shetty wasn’t kicked out by Paresh Rawal per his demands and Nandini is threatening Karan with divorce.

Paresh called out the bluff and didn’t cave in so as to not lose a paying tenant; Karan was a bit similar today when he said that she need not remind him at every single opportunity that this is a drama and she would leave him.

Makes sense. That’s how it’s most cultures too, but I have seen/heard instances of men getting married to their brother’s widow to take responsibility if they are single and want to marry rather than the woman being widow for life or not getting any future husband at all because of misogyny where a woman is considered to be expired of some sort after marrying once and being a widow for life. I don’t find anything wrong in that if both are okay with it. I know one couple like that and the husband loves the wife crazily.

Most of them were just unable to grasp the basic concept that Nandini had been duped into the marriage and when she wanted to divorce him, he took her to a holiday on the pretext of giving their marriage one last chance and therein he forced himself upon her.

To them, he was her husband and therefore there was nothing like coercion or assault. They conveniently ignored that Nandini had filed for divorce; she had already made up her mind to separate from him legally. So if she’s saying that she was unwilling and had been assaulted, then there was merit in her statement and the claims.

Mihir himself was aghast when Tulsi told him in blunt words that Ansh raped Nandini and his response was - But he’s her husband, how can he rape her?
