I think it’s part of our culture to keep wearing bangles, rings etc. So they all wear it despite them being very heavy to wear. I tried to wear mine, but I wasn’t interested in them at that time and now I lost mine :( I think I will start wearing jewelry regularly. May be I will get used to it

Do you wear it on daily basis? From which state do you belong? I'm from Gujarat gujju 😂

I am not from India. I think Pashtun women have this culture of wearing bangles and all everyday especially after marriage. I think other ethnicities from Afghanistan do the same because some other women from other ethnic background in my family also wear bangles and all

No. I was born in Pakistan. Living in USA. I have never been to India. May be one day I can go. Someone I worked with in the past said I can go with her. She is from India and frequently goes to India

in North Mangalsutra isn't necessary. Sindoor is and everyone I have seen wears that

manalsootra is not worn in offices by many because it doesn't go with western formal

Although personally I though don't wear it at home as I get skin irritation but I definitely wear whenever I go out

May be some muslims in India do it for fashion, but I have never seen a muslim wearing sindoor. Some even say don’t apply bindi or that kalaa tikka on forehead because that would mean being a Hindi and would be considered a shirk/out of islam. I am not an atheist. I believe in god. Don’t follow any religion
