Agreed. Phufijaan needs to go. She adds no value other then a weird comedic effect. Nazima's mom is a wallflower at best. She just follows no questions asked. Nazima could go as well. I think we are all tired of the typical obsessive and delusional psycho one sided lover.

March 10th episode

The first 45 seconds were so quiet yet it spoke volumes about their relationship. Seher openly mentioning his trauma and needing to deal with it and Mahid appreciate her no nonsense, straight to the point approach.

I literally can't stand his family. I know they raised him and he believes they love him but they can all just go away. Phufi who claims to love him and let's for a second believe she does. If Seher makes Mahid happy shouldn't she be happy for him? What's her issue with Seher that she is poor and "uneducated"?

Mahid defending Seher against Phufi was lovely. Every time she tries to antagonize with him against it backfires gloriously.

Their sweet little eyes conversation saying let's go up to our room was too cute.

Is it me or is Mahid's naughty and playful side coming out more and more with Seher? It's fun to watch.

I have no doubt she will become a doctor; she won't be Dr. Seher Baig like she wanted but Dr. Seher Niyazi. I don't doubt for a second Mahid will help, the pause and slight turn to make sure she had time to hide her books. It's the little things that make life beautiful.

Let's see how her first sehri goes, who will save her Kausar or do we think Mahid will make the food? LOL

I m yet to watch yesterday and today’s Epi but saw some clips of both epis.

I m glad finally they are showing Ramadhan track in this show since it's a Muslim show.

But idk what obsession ITV Muslim shows have with showing more romance than usual during Ramadhan smiley23they did the same with Beintehaa too smiley36

I came across that waist scene clip in IG I came across, Redditers are gonna be pissed with it smiley36

The way MaHer is coming close and their proximity increasing I have a feeling Mahid will find out Seher’s real age after they get intimate or something and this will cause a mess!

I think any holidays they up the romance to bring in the ratings.

Why would redditers be pissed?

I hope you are wrong because it will just set back his treatment back to square one. He is principled and 1000% he will blame himself even though he had no knowledge.

For holidays yeah I get it but actually Ramadhan is a holy month for Muslims and couples are not allow to romance when they are fasting 😅 so that's why I find it strange when they show more romance for Muslim couples during Ramadhan smiley36 Bur I am glad to see a sneak peak pic where MaHer are praying together that's a more accurate representation of Muslim couples during Ramadhan!

As for Redditers, they actually hate this show. Talking about the ITV sub. Like initially I get it they were criticizing but later it seemed that they are targeting this show without even knowing the full story and making hate posts about it purposely and exceedingly. Found it toxic so I stopped commenting and just go to the show sub to read updates, at least that isn't as toxic but too much off-screen discussion than on-screen. But it's just Redditers, other SM handles fans love this show especially IG.

I also want to be wrong just wrote what I felt, my prediction hasn't been the best so far smiley37Like I didn't expect Mahid to be okay with Seher’s education so soon smiley36

I learned something new today so thank you for that. I think they will give us the beginning and fast forward to Eid since we are about half way through Ramadan.

I've never been on Reddit. lol Why the hate? I've also noticed a lot of people on IG saying not to watch the show because of it's regressive views.

Weirdly, as the story progressed I wasn't shocked he is continuing her education. I think Mahid is more progressive then he lets on. He has always been put in this specific box by his family and by society so acts and behaves to fit that narrative. Seher lets him be him a bit more even if it's in a chaotic way; he can fun not be stoic all the time. Even if he becomes mufti he is allowed to human and human contact/warmth (when I say contact I don't that contact just a hug or someone to hold you when you are having a horrible day) which I think he has lacked since his mother's death.

actually IG people are supportive of this show now it's only the Redditers that are against it. I don't see much negative posts on IG about MaHer lately it's mostly edits about them. They got a strong online buzz though trp of the show is low. And constantly they are ranked as top or top 3 jodis among recent ITV shows in IG pages.

Redditers hate it cause of Seher’s age since she is too young and not 18 yet. I also wasn't really in favour of this tbh initially but the truth is whatever they are showing in this show is very real in many families especially in rural areas or urban family too but stuck in old era. I have came across such couples and family many times and saw glimpses of how their daily lives are.

Also this education thing for young girls some husband are supportive over it some are not. Some are like Mahid and some are like Parvez but mostly I see it's in between not as bad as Parvez but they are not as supportive as Mahid too.

I do enjoy the edits on IG. It's my favorite things to watch of them lately. If this wasn't a show, no one would see this as romance if we think logically. It's husband helping his wife make sehri early in the morning. If a woman was doing something and was falling, hope her spouse would catch her. lol

I mean the reality side of me is like eek she is underage and he isn't that old (22 I think) so a real 22 years old aren't very mature either. At some point I had to let it go about her age to enjoy the show. Obviously real life is very different even if the shows try to be realistic. Real life is hard which is why people enjoy TV to escape. Even with her age, they want to be a team and partners; if the support is there and flows both ways go for it. They found love young and even though it was under false pretenses their foundation is pure.

Sorry that was long and I went off track per usual. lol

March 11th episode

I'm doubling down, Mahid's family has to go. I 1000% believe Wasim and Phufi drove his mother to suicide.

Fate also drawing some very cruel parallels. From the what Phufi said Gazala was very similar to Seher, she was educated and didn't like or follow the certain old rules. Adnan supported his wife's dream as does Mahid but when he "died"; the family went after her. I'm questioning how Adnan died too now. Phufi might have had a hand in it but Wasim might have killed him to be mufti.

This sucks. No one has been ever truly supported or loved Mahid except Dada huzur which just sad.

Onto the lighter parts of the show. The morning scene was funny. Mahid's unique way of waking up Seher. My little nephew open my eyes like that when I'm fake sleeping. lol She was running late to make sehri but you mean to tell me they she waited till Mahid was also ready to go down? And he is turning into such a good hubby carrying those pots down, can you imagine Mahid from 2 months ago doing that?

Mahid's new personal mission seems to Seher's sleep or at least making it go away. I do love that they are equals in all things, she gives as good as she gets. Grabbing Mahid Niyazi's collar is no easy feat. Go girl!

A tip for our boy - he needs to listen to his wife and not tell his family everything and take calls in the open. Her statement that these people are the ONLY ones who knows what triggers him. It makes sense so hopefully he will wisen up else Wasim is ready to destroy Mahid's first speech.
