yeah i remember abhi realizing that. after they went to resort and ranbir ran away to marry prachi. even then he didnt look beyond rhea. this same girl tried to mess up prachi's life so many times. its insane abhi never had that self reflection

I don't understand why Viranis expect Hrithik and Mitali to patch up? I mean she's neither a good wife nor a good mother. She herself has signed the divorce papers so why do they still want them to be together?

In every generation of Viranis there are multiple divorce cases but they are behaving as if it is first in the family

I don't think Mitali will want Timsi's custody. She treats Timsi's like her step daughter. The only reason she would want Timsi's custody is for claiming more alimony from Viranis

They did show it when she refused to back out from marrying Angad and reveal it to the Viranis that the marriage wouldn’t happen as Angad caught her lies and found out she was gambling and faked being possessed in order to not pay her friends back.

She told him that she had money but not the status that came with it. The Sarabhais are likely new money… the Viranis aren’t. They are an old, rich and established family whose name has a status associated with legacy. She told Angad she didn’t want to marry him for money, but for his last name. She would forgive him his momentary lapse as her fiancé for falling in love with Vrinda and he can forgive her lies and drama, they’re going to call it even and get married.

The rest is history.

So when she couldn’t land Angad, we know she had an eye on Parth but probably was convinced by Noina to get married to Hrithik instead as though Parth was a Virani; his dad is an illegitimate son of Mihir. Hrithik maybe an adopted son but it would be still considered as a more respectable match than one with the son of an illegitimate son.
