Trp range ki baat nahi Hai. It is continuously losing slot leader position too which affect ad revenues. People would be watching zee Vasudha more that automatically means ads bhi wahi channel par log jyada dekh rahe hai. If yeh rishta was 2 and Vasudha 2.2 tab bhi star plus force karta gen leap ke liye to go ahead of the competitor.

And as you said yeh rishta ki wajah se Anupama ko bhi loss ho raha hai. There's no audience watching yeh rishta which could go on watching Anupama as well.

From star PoV it doesn't work like that. Ksbkbt2 has the potential to grown even more if rishta is revived. If rishta is revived anupama get better ratings and as a result ksbkbt will get better ratings. Right now rishta is bringing the whole band down. Uka is producing 1.7 TRP's rishta realistically needs 1.9-2 trps. If rishta gets 2 trp both anupamaa and ksbkbt can target 2.2+trp

That's true but the way the show is moving with turtle speed and even they are bringing Aryan character back makes me feel that gen leap is still far away as in 2-3 months still and mostly gen leap will be after ipl is over because star is actually at a very critical condition with its showing not doing well so it might not take the risk.

I know dkps main thinking is they don't want to take gen leap into ipl as it is risky but on the other hand they are investing huge amount of money and time in this gen which is already dead. Assuming production cost of 20L per episode as of now they have dragged this gen atleast by 30 episodes and counting. It's 6 crore+ time invested. This 6 crore could've been invested in gen 5 which could revive the show

They let go of genuine character anuj and gaurav who defended the show so much to uplift their main actor . Rishta is suffering due to that. First of all they cast sasta actors and then kill the character

Sorry not sorry if anyone felt bad but an actor gets that huge paycheck cause their craft is good. Less salary bakwas work

They had good opportunity with garvita cause that's like very rare a newbie does good overshadow the leads but against for few people they let go of ruhi. Garvita has a good fanbase who are tuning in for Mahadev. You can't say they won't have watched rishta if ruhi had more material. They could have given us her remarriage drama, a good social track regarding widow marriage. But nope

These two shows deserve less but our audience is ghatiya so won't be surprised next week they get more and after that more since t20. Will be done

UKA had Punjab track something new and refreshing from their boring tracks so UKA gained 2 points. As a consequence yeh rishta gained one point. Fans shouldn't be delusional to think their favorite couple has brought trps

That's 2.0 with 25 minutes of telecast

They had to decrease duration of YRKKH to 18 minutes to increase average TRPs

Yeah that's the main reason. When you are in prime slots all shows need support from the previous show. For example uka is getting 1.7 which is a very good support for rishta. So it need to generate atleast 1.9-2 trp but instead of generating more it is actually generating less than uka. This makes the life of anupama difficult and if Anupama is generating less it's affecting ksbkbt too.

I've also read on X they have increased the duration of anupama as rishta duration is only 20 minutes so this is another factor
