Gautam should divorce his wife and leave custody of the kid to Damini. Aise greedy logo k sath rehke kya

Ajay and mihir making same mistakes. Ajay asking to pari for dusra mauka when she should fall on his feet beg for forgiveness..mihir is waiting on tulsi to say divorce nhi hoga when he should say it.

yeah, definitely the son ko itna uchalra ta before gomzi bought him to the ground bey refusing to pay for the loan...less said about ajay-pari the better, its just being rushed...mihir holding onto divorce cancellation ki aas was just boring too

Reading tonight’s episode title I half expected him to blackmail Noina to pay him to keep quiet and then gather her payment as proof that establishes beyond a shadow of a doubt that the video is legitimate which is why Noina paid him too. He blackmailed her just to get her to pay him so that she couldn’t claim that the video was fake and created using some AI capable of generating deep fake; something that might be possible given today’s technological advances.

However this wasn’t a bad idea either.

if gomzi says to that nakul to stop being a brat, matlab samjho tulsi ka male version is here..smiley36woh damini ko bhi 2-4 baatein sunaye and include how both of their choices have impacted them and the upbringing of nakul, it can make for a good scene smiley36like you said, tedha h par mera h vibes deja vu lol

I don't know why but mujhe laggta hai, Noina chahe to Gautam k peeche bhi pyar ka rona rote padegi.

The audacity of this lady stating again and again, unke shadi me kuch bacha hi nhi tha, and Mihir mere saathkhush hai😂😂😂

Ye Mihir iss cheez ko kab clear karega 🙄

I have been pondering over the Damini Nakul angle and yeah the way they behaved is pretty awful, but I think it reflects a deeper problem, one that needs discussing.

I am sure we all know of someone in our family or neighbourhood or friends or in the extended circle of acquaintances who boasts about their kid/s studying abroad or their family shifting out of India for good. It could be Dubai, US, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore… practically anywhere in the world that’s considered financially developed enough to flaunt it as a status symbol to the rest.

I don’t begrudge these people looking for better opportunities in their lives - they’re entitled to it. If they can get something they feel makes their lives comfortable, more successful then they should absolutely take up the opportunity no matter where it is…. But the problem lies in their attitudes towards India the moment this shift is confirmed. They need not have even moved away and experienced this better version of life in their preferred destination but they start looking down on India and everything about the country. It’s like they can’t wait to prove their superiority but to establish that they must make sure they make India look inferior.

Ironically, courtesy of the recent events in Iran, I am sure the infamous memes regarding Indian students are floating all over again on social media especially Indian Twitter.

Countless such people landed in Dubai, many of them shifting there just to evade taxes… but the moment a war rocked the tax haven that is Dubai, they looked towards India to intervene and rescue them at least, Dubai be damned with its native population. Funnily, there are plenty of people on the other side of this war expecting the same too. So… essentially, regardless of which side of the border they’re on - they want an Indian government plane to fly in and take them out of there as their first priority no matter what it takes them.

Crazily, this isn’t the first time it’s happening either. It happened in the Russia Ukraine conflict, when things got bad in Africa, it will happen again in the future in some other part of the world too and maybe this very year itself given how life’s going these days for everyone.

War, calamity of any kind, civil unrest - no matter what plagues a country - an Indian expat expects the Indian government to come to their rescue from anywhere in the world. Doesn’t matter if they’re a student out there or someone who mocked India by calling it slurs or someone who wanted to avoid paying taxes. They all want to be rescued.

Of all these people the ones who call my country names and worse the ones who want to escape to tax havens are the ones who I feel most angry at. I don’t mind the students expecting help - they’re still too young to understand the way the world works and they are raised with a certain mindset from their families. Too young to form their opinions, yet old enough to move out. They’re not to be blamed as much here as the other two categories of people. Because when it comes down to the most important thing - living - they look at India to come save their behinds irrespective of location and situation; worse than they have the audacity to complain that the flight seats weren’t as comfortable or that they didn’t get dropped off to their doorstep in luxury Volvos or cars but basic buses and their meals were the Indian staple Dal chawal roti but not a scrumptious spread of biryani, raita with their bread soaked in ghee or butter and sabzis prepared in the most delicious gravies.

The money of an Indian taxpayer goes towards that expense - and that includes a common person who simply purchases a toothbrush or a pair of shoes from a showroom that pays taxes to the government via GST. Even if we avoid paying taxes somehow by being on the lower income margin or taking some other loophole to avoid paying taxes… we pay them when we purchase anything from a service to a commodity from a company that has to pay taxes. So right from our electricity to the internet to soaps and basic life supplies we pay taxes one way or another which goes to the government obviously.

They complain about a government that they expect comes to rescue them and then even after it rescues them from wherever and from whatever situation. A government already dealing with population the size of ours, internal politics, awful neighbourhood and external forces at work to create unrest here regardless of which party is in power.

Compare that to the situation here.

Gautam is like those expats - complaining to his parents not giving him more money… not noticing his distress when he couldn’t say it after being rebuked rightfully when he himself chose to not follow his dad’s advice, when he didn’t share his problems and nor did his wife. He’s angry about not getting more money when he’s been bailed out twice already and would have been a third time around as well if his pride and jealousy hadn’t gotten in his way and stopped him from asking for help again from his dad.

His parents are dealing with a huge family that has it’s little fires going on somewhere or the other at all the times. They put out fires in his life twice too but he wants them to do so forever whenever he comes running to them. Because if they don’t - he will accuse them of being partial, showing favouritism and not loving him like they love their other kids.

He is doing with his parents what his wife and son did to him - what Damini said - If you don’t give your kids what they want, how can you expect them to stay close to you?

Gautam is in pain and he rightfully wants his parents to be there for him - but isn’t he also being no different and better than his wife and kid whose behaviour has been hurting him nonstop? Tulsi and Mihir are at fault here too - they’re not completely blameless - but their fault is becoming careless by action not failing to bail their son out when he asked for help and clearly needed it. They didn’t even know that. But parents aren’t gods, they’re not omniscient beings who would have solved everything without Gautam having to even ask. They can be blamed for not having their alarm bells ringing when Gautam was withdrawn from them for so long and without any explanations just dropped from the orbit. But they certainly can’t be blamed for his wrong decisions or his wife and kid leaving him. That’s kinda on him.

I think it took Gautam realising with that one line of Damini’s yesterday how he was doing to his parents what was done to him to realise the error of his ways. It took Tulsi apologising and sending over Shobha, showing she loves him with little gestures like scolding his untidiness and getting his favourite food to him for that petulant son to know he was still loved regardless of what he said and accused his parents of. It took one line from one of the two people he loves jolting him to understand he was doing exactly what was being done to him. And if it hurt him, it has to hurt his parents the same.
