Interesting that Gautam gets swayed by the idea of winning back his wife and son; only to ironically realise he wouldn’t have them back at the cost of killing his conscience and being the son who would voluntarily let his parents be destroyed by ensuring their separation is permanent.

I think the moment Damini said if you don’t give your kids what they want how will they stay with you hit him like a truck. He was both a father and a son in that moment. It hit him that he was dealing with this whole thing in a wrong manner. Yes, his wife and son are allowed to be angry at him for his bad financial decisions that led them into such a massive debt, he probably lost a lot but the fact that he could immediately win them over by just flaunting a cheque made him realise just how hollow his relationships are and how he was allowing his son to set a precedent. Be angry at dad if he doesn’t fulfil your demands and stay away from him until he does. Go back to him in a heartbeat when he gives in and gets you what you want. Today it’s education in US, tomorrow it could be something else and then something else.

Besides, Nakul’s whole focus is on going to US for higher education to show off in front of his peers, flaunt his foreign education credentials and hang out with friends there as a status symbol. He didn’t mention that he was interested in pursuing a course there because it was a premium institution that would open doors for him that he would perhaps not gain access to easily or as the university offered some niche course there that was taught only at select institutions.

Gautam was selling his soul, conscience and his parents out for a son he couldn’t even feel proud of raising in that moment.

I wondered how they would delay the promised exposure until Tuesday, and more importantly why when Gautam found out the truth yesterday itself… seems like we have the partial answer to that today. Tomorrow Gautam will give an earful to his wife and son, perhaps find out that while he went home looking for his father, his parents were out there trying to meet him.

Looking forward to seeing the prodigal son reunite with his parents and also reuniting them in turn. I liked how underneath all his anger, frustration and arrogance is a son who loves his parents and is upset that they have been victims of such a vile woman. Particularly his mother having to deal with the humiliation, heartbreak and hurt of the worst sort imaginable to a woman as a wife all over again courtesy of one shameless, evil and selfish woman who also ensured that his dad was disgraced at such an age and stage of his life in front of his children, Bahus and grandchildren.

I wanna see what Gautam has to say to Damini and Nakul tomorrow but more importantly I want to see if he confesses to his parents what he almost did. I hope he does. Reading tonight’s episode title I half expected him to blackmail Noina to pay him to keep quiet and then gather her payment as proof that establishes beyond a shadow of a doubt that the video is legitimate which is why Noina paid him too. He blackmailed her just to get her to pay him so that she couldn’t claim that the video was fake and created using some AI capable of generating deep fake; something that might be possible given today’s technological advances.

However this wasn’t a bad idea either.

Honestly barring Gautam’s scenes tonight the rest of the episode was a snooze fest. Didn’t care enough about Ajay being an idiot, Mihir wallowing in self pity and definitely don’t care if Angad goes back to SN or not.

So now the makers are going to force this vile artificial Damini on us? They will suddenly make her say sorry to Gautam and all will be fine?? 🤢🤢

First Pari, then Noina and now her

Gautam’s scenes were the best. The actor is great. His screen presence is great. Even when he is grey he makes us feel for him. Thank god makers brought him back else I would’ve had to see poor male actors of the new gen even more. Gautam is worthy of being Tulsi/TuHir’s son. Gautam baby, you are the best
