I have realised i don't like irritating men. Raman tested my patience and his behaviour towards ishita was so horrible pre marriage. And the madrasi nonsense they did

I found Ramans mother quite nice. Her and ishitas and ishitas mother bonding was nice. Ruhi was ofcourse highlight, what a talent. After that they dragged. I didn't care about the love story much. Other relationships were better

I have saved kyph playlist, didn't start watching yet. Need to be in that mood lol

Kaisa ye pyar hai was classic story fans compared that show as a television kuch kuch hota hai version at that time and most favourite show at that time 20 years passed I was 10 year kid that time but I used to like that show.

Iqbal quit and so his character was killed. They got Varun Badola as a distant relative/family friend on the show later and I think he does end up developing feelings for Paakhi and perhaps they get married for some legal reason or something as a sham. I don’t remember clearly but in the end Paakhi spends the rest of her life as Anshuman’s widow and raises his son he had with his wife who had passed away. Anshuman and Paakhi had a child marriage when he was 6 or 7 and she was obviously younger. His family moved away from Rajasthan and they became very successful. I think it’s mentioned that the elders of the family had an argument over the modern lifestyle that Anshuman’s family was adopting to succeed or some such thing. There is a fallout and so Anshuman’s family practically never returns to the native village after the altercation.

Paakhi grows up knowing she’s married to a man named Anshuman Rathore and waits for him to come and take her home with him. He was never told as an adult by his parents that he had been married as a child and since he was too young to understand that he was getting married at that age he went onto forget about it entirely.

He grew up, got married to a woman he met and fell in love with, they had a son and it was implied he was very happy with her until she suddenly passed away in an accident.

He later gets engaged to another girl, the daughter of a rich investor he wants to partner up with and around the time he’s awarded some prestigious award as a young entrepreneur whose company has become the latest to enter the Fortune 500 club or something in India. That leads to some journalist digging up his life so as to create a story about him, as a special feature for his channel or as a cover story in some magazine’s upcoming edition. The journalist travels to Anshuman’s native village to interview the people who had known his dad, the founder of the company and to show how a man of such humble origins rose to such great heights and left his children such an amazing legacy. What the journalist finds is far more explosive than he anticipated in his wildest dreams and Anshuman learns via a news report that he’s got a bride waiting for him in his native village of Rajasthan for 2 decades now. He’s miffed and angry and wants to save his reputation. He explains he was too young to remember his marriage and so he didn’t intentionally cheat on his wife when he married his now dead wife or even got engaged later on to another woman.

Anshuman is obsessed with his reputation and so he’s asked - will he do right by the woman waiting for him for 2 decades now that he knows the truth and he is put on the spot on live tv and ends up saying he will.

He gets her home with the intent of driving her away and making it seem like she’s the rotten apple he got unfortunately stuck with. He presumed a lot of things about her and all of them were wrong. He ends up falling in love with her just as she finds out he never wanted to be with her after all and so she leaves him. The show was supposed to end with their reunion but the channel got greedy and wanted to extend the show though it was meant to be a limited series. That’s when Iqbal quit. He had signed on for the show to the point I narrated it but the moment they decided to extend it and go for a double role or a second role where he plays an imposter posing as Anshuman, Iqbal quit. He’s kinda rigid in that way and apparently hates when shows deviate and well, unfortunately, most of them do always.

Crazily, the channel ended up announcing that they’d be shutting down most shows of that era and go for a revamp with new shows lines up but they closed down entirely.

Saraswati Chandra starring Jenny and Gautam was supposed to be the main attraction of that new line up but then it went to SP overnight and we found out that the channel itself was wrapping up.

No clue about that PH and the alleged issues with their MLs but this thing with Iqbal is a persistent issue regardless of channel, show and PH so I can’t be certain if those people are to blame for in his case entirely.

He quit KAA out of the blue and suddenly was replaced by Yash Tonk with even SBS/SBB reporting on the replacement AFTER the episode with Yash as the new Shiv was aired! And the reporters of these two practically lived on the sets of Balaji.

The crazy thing is she’s going to have a leverage with men courtesy of a Saas Bahu show! The show introduced the concept of false cases on men filed under the domestic violence laws where the man was the victim all along! Upma is airing these socially relevant tracks recently one after another after that! The worst part is that I don’t know what sucks more - the execution, her acting or the 80s style Kader Khan movies on the nose treatment which treats such issues as a lecture on morality rather than a good message. They had a don’t sign papers without reading track followed by a similar track of a man being a victim of domestic violence laws and the recent one was about the abuse faced by old parents at the hands of their kids and DILs.
Next one might as well be about organ donation or how widow remarriage or adoption is a good cause or something like that. Because you know.. we all have been suddenly transported back to the 80’s!

Just saw Noyona's and Tulsi's scene. Noyona ko to bulldozer se kuchal dena chahiye
