Horror comedy connecting to Akshay's success with BB... hopefully something not just 'riding the nostalgic wave' but with as good a story as then the Malayalam original (Manichitrathazhu with Mohanlal, in the nineties) presented for the Hindi remake BB.

Maybe this is now a remake of Priyadarshan's own spin-off of the Malayalam movie (Geethannjali again with Mohanlal, 2013) although this one hadn't been an original story but a remake of a Thai movie (which got an adaptation with Bipasha Basu and also served as a base for BB2).

Or, maybe, it is what the planned TV series had in mind...
