I can imagine a restaurant called Suja Hua Mooh owned by Gautam now with Suji Ka Dhokla being its most popular dish smiley37smiley37

He can open a Upbeat cafe in churchgate or malabar hill or bandra

named Suja hua Mooh serving suji ka dhokla and I am very sure my friends will RUN towards it.

Gen z love to spend money on food

Today if you can make anything an experience it works smiley36

He needs to serve healthy Suji items in quirky ways and it would work smiley36

I have been ruminating on this. And yes at first glance that’s what it comes across as, but we have been told Gautam has lost his money twice over in bad business decisions and investments, and so they somehow pinned their hopes on the will for a third bailout. They assumed the inheritance will be substantial enough to pay off and cover whatever losses Gautam has made, AGAIN, and there will be enough surplus left to pay for Nakul’s college expenses. Essentially, they perhaps didn’t expect the ancestral home in Kutch necessarily but whatever they got was inconsequential when compared to that place because it not only comes with legacy value, but also is financially quite a decent payoff.

Damini may come across as a gold-digger but money is a reality and a necessity of life too. It’s easy to blame the woman who walks out on her husband who isn’t doing well financially but it’s also important to know and take into account that she had a nearly 2 decades long marriage and her husband has nearly bankrupted them twice. She is getting older, her kid(s) want a better life and feel like their dad has failed them, and she’s at the end of her rope.

Karan is living in the US with his whole family where they’re thriving. Nakul simply wants to go and study there but his dad isn’t able to afford that as well.

It may seem like a mountain is being raised out of a molehill but these things happen irl. When one sibling does better, the other(s) may be happy but comparisons inevitably come in, especially when the lifestyle of the spouse and kids of said sibling is taken into consideration by the spouses and kids of the rest. Sometimes no matter what you have isn’t enough even if you get a fair share.

Mahabharat was fought for land at the end of the day for worth, value and inheritance.

The game of dice was about greed and jealousy that couldn’t accept that Pandavas got a bad deal but still turned it around. The Vastraharan was pivotal to show that when conscience dies, values are forsaken and those meant to preserve, honour and protect can possibly become the first to attack and destroy. That when pride, ego, vanity, jealousy and cruelty take over - the values of the ancestors are forsaken, the duty towards family forgotten and the responsibility of preserving is lost.

So money, influence and power has always been an issue, even when Bhagwan himself walked the earth be it as Ram or as Krishna.

That’s not how this Damini came across in the flashbacks. She was simply greedy, bad partner and wanted more. They were not on the streets that she had to leave him. I don’t know why and what they have done to Damini, but old Damini played by the other actress wasn’t like this. This Damini is just a negative character who wants to drop her husband because she can’t have a rich life like others. Gautam wasn’t poor. They still had a house and everything. Still she left and seems like she also taught the son the same so he also left and didn’t care.
