I’m trying to figure out how to sympathise with Gomzi but the more I see his track the worse… weirder it gets.

To kickstart, Gautam had 2 sons but now we only hear about one. So where’s Mayank now?! Written off? Forgotten? Too expensive to be included as another extra?! Idk.

Then there was the scene today with Shobha where he essentially says that he and Damini were EXCITED for Baa’s will reading?!

EXCITED FOR A WILL READING?!

SERIOUSLY?!

This was not some random distant relative you never met or knew who died and left behind all their assets to you as somehow you were the only living relatives they had left that this event has to be considered as something exciting!

This was BAA - your great grandmother and great grandmother-in-law that you lived with for years! How can you be excited about her will reading considering that everyone was seen in white clothes in the flashback scene of the will reading too - meaning it happened within the mourning period of 13 days of her passing away when close family members are dressed in all white per traditions until the Tervi vidhi is concluded.

Are we supposed to root for and feel sorry for Gautam and Damini who apparently are so messed up that they were celebrating Baa’s death when the family hadn’t even concluded the rituals that they must follow after her death all because they felt that they would get some money and then got bummed out when they got nothing?!

Ideally, Damini should have been shown helping Tulsi with the ceremonies too. Baa passed away after not just having the joys of being a grandma, but she literally lived long enough to see her great-great grandchildren. Mihir is her grandson, we are being told that Baa passed away after she spent enough time with Parth, who is Mihir’s grandson! There are so many rituals after death too that ideally Damini as the oldest Bahu of her generation should have been around to help Tulsi for! But she was happy Baa died?!

Gautam was apparently also not taking advice that Mihir gave and chose to ignore Mihir’s warnings about bad investments and business opportunities/partners wherein he lost his share of inheritance and it’s everyone else’s fault but his?!

Also, Nakul apparently was old enough to be able to go to college to US when Baa passed away, say even if he was 18 or so when this happened, Parth was still shown as an underage child no more than 10 years old per previous flashbacks when Baa passed away.

At the beginning of this dumb season, Mihir Tulsi celebrated being married for 38 years. Karan had a son who was at least 18 years at the time too… and now per this… Parth has a cousin who is older than him by at least 8 years so technically he should be 26 at the beginning of the show and currently he should be 32… the show took a leap of 6 years and that means Mihir Tulsi have a 32 year old grandson, after being married for 44 years.

Gautam's sad track is very stupid! They are forcing him to be sad!

The main villains in Gautam's life are damini and his son! Damini is the gold digger in this case..

Gautam, already got his share and goofed up his business, then he didn't state his demands clearly.. and now he is sulking like a baby, jealous of his own siblings!

The timeline and ages suck here. They don’t make sense at all. I don’t understand why they couldn’t take care of something so important but easy to just manage it. It’s so frustrating. Forget the ages from last season which they may have hard time matching with current season. There was even a scene of Ranvijay telling Pari that their daughter is 8 years old when the leap is only for 6 years. They can’t even keep track of present season’s ages when the leap had just occurred. Then I tagged the makers/writers and told them why they did that when the leap is for only 6 years. So in next few episodes they started to mention Garima is 6 years old. But why do I or anyone even need to tell them something so basic? Can’t they write properly??

Liked the episode more than I expected. I didn’t notice Gautam saying about being excited about the will until now so felt bad for him throughout the episode. I think he meant he was excited to get something so he can send his son to the university, not that he was happy Baa is dead. Still poor choice of words from him. Mihir shouldn’t have kept praising Karan nonstop in front of Gautam. Most children start to feel insecure especially when Mihir already knows Gautam has a history of feeling insecurity about Karan. Then again when Gautam mentioned his business loss, Mihir again started to praise Karan and started to compare both. He could’ve just told him how he didn’t take his advice instead of keep bringing Karan Karan Karan. Tulsi had no awareness to check upon Gautam when he was going through everything which was before the 6 years leap timeline so she could’ve reached out to him then

I don’t understand what kind of parents Tusli Mihir are. They were busy adopting others but couldn’t even check upon their biological son. If they couldn’t take care of their children then why bother with adopting more?? Gautam is wrong to completely blame everything on his parents, but his parents aren’t completely right too. But the biggest villain in Gautam’s life is that wife. Can’t believe makers have made Damini like that when she was so nice for the most part in S1. He should get rid of her first. Such a parasite here just for money. I hope makers don’t start to whitewash her now. Gautam deserves a better life partner.

She was so good. The actress and the character both. She and Gautam had good chemistry too. Don’t know why this new actress we have to see 😩

Sumeet acted well smiley27 His screen presence is 🔥 Liked the episode only because the episode was full of OG actors. Even if the episode/storyline is not that great, the OG actors make up for it. The new actors especially the new male actors of itv can’t match the acting and screen presence of old itv actors. Now the male actors are just lazy. Hiten, Sumeet and all others were also inexperienced and didn’t have years of experience when they came to itv and Kyunki, but they were so much better than the current ones who have years of experience but still can’t act well.
