Exactly. 7 innings duck is not a small thing. They gave chances to Sanju as well, but he wasn't able to convert them into runs.

At the end of the day, team's performance is taking a hit and that's a problem they need to fix.

Fielding was never our strength.

Abhishek needs to understand that he is not supposed to hit the ball out of the park every single time. He must study the pitch and the bowler for at least a ball or two before hitting.

I don't have an issue with Tilak. He made 25 runs and the SR is always above 100. He took a wicket too. Overall, that is not great but, that is good.

One thing I am happy about is, someone or the other is stepping up to win the match for us.

In Super8s one person's heroics won't be enough. We need at least 2 or 3 players to step up at any given time.

True, fielding needs to improve if we want to dominate in Super 8s.

Abhishek definitely has talent, but a little patience at the start will make him even more dangerous.

Tilak did contribute in both departments not extraordinary, but valuable. And yes, in big tournaments we need collective performances, not just one hero every match.
