Watched today’s episode and Ayesha, Adnan and Yami performed their parts wonderfully. These are the last few of this little powerhouse darling, who for such a young actress can relay changes in expressions and dialogues superbly, that many experienced adult actors never manage so well……will miss her very much and wish her family good health and Yami oodles of success in the future. Hope we still get Bunty scenes, he’s such a delight and actually brought about Dua’s poster and in turn will be saving Dua’s Nani

Secondly with Ramadhan beginning tomorrow Insha’Allah I’ll be trying to keep away from negativity for the month at least, which is a tall order in this show 🤣🥹 so do continue to tag me, but I may be quieter on the forum.

Vishaka sold him to Ronnie for a Price...being her son he maybe thinks everything/ everyone can be bought with money lthose he is surrounded by all demand a material consideration from him so the dim with thinks Dua comes with a pricetag too.

I enjoyed the hospital scenes on the whole, but really do share everyone’s frustrations with the writers and out of sequence execution by the editors. Writers for using any and every angle to pile on more MUs between ManVik. Where we had hoped Dua would be their bridge, she’s adding more distance between them with more MU’s and witnessing Vikrant only in angry-uncle mode.

My interpretation of the episode was;
Vik (i) indirectly wanting to help pay for Neetu’s treatment because he was bound by Vish’s promise (ii) wanting to find out exactly what Neetu’s ailment was (iii) sign up Dua’s participation in the competition because of the mix up and Thandons pressure.

Rather than being a positive episode as a reflection of Mannat/Dua’s prayers and in turn Vikrant praying for a way forward to help Neetu, in execution it actually became jumbled leaving Vikrant’s intentions muddled.

I’m interpreting Vik sees Vish’s promise to mean, not meeting Neetu, nor asking docs or anyone directly what’s wrong with her (hence the illogical probing Mannat/DK on reason to be in Mumbai) nor paying for treatment!

I’m also interpreting that Vikrant didn’t know about Mannat being mugged of the Sinha loan, but knew she still needed the money for Neetu’s treatment, which became clearer when doc confirmed he’d switch off machines if payment wasn’t forthcoming asap.

Writers can give good dialogues when they want - 6yr old Dua worked out that the panditji’s prophecy that she’d change their destiny in helping her Nani was linked to the chef competition, yet when it came to Vikrant he only got the dramatic but misleading dialogues that triggered Mannat’s panic 🙁

Moor/Betty I agree Mannat was leaning towards letting Dua participate, but Vikrant (needed to) went on the add the payment dialogues, to include a financial exchange to enable Neetu’s treatment, and sarcastically to rile Mannat so she would not realise Vik’s tact & feel obligated in any way to Vikrant, so more likely to accept. That’s stretching the imagination but so are the writers in creating these ludicrous dialogues and MUs.

Resham, I’m with you in still rooting for ManVik and AdSha , despite writers creating these divides and sidey headaches.

Vik definitely has a unconscious classism in him. He finds easier to trust people who he thinks have the riches and so the only thing they seek must be emotions.

Thats not the case with Mannat. She madly loved Vik but his biases and insecurities have blinded him. Mannat has always owned up her poverty and like you said maybe the last time Mannat did this has put it in his mind that she can do it again. She even let go of the property just to prove a point to him.

The other thing could be why hasnt he accepted Aman Kumar persona if he thinks Salujas betrayed him. Its a different matter that Vish never calls him Aman as well.

But then he gets upset when Ronnie says Aman. So thats the question of his identity which he hasnt addressed yet.

His identity is closely linked to the money angle. Like some of us came to the conclusion few days back... Saluja wealth is retribution for whatever Vish suffered over the years, Vik probably believes the same and hence it doesnt cross his mind that he is enjoying what is not his.

Ronnie has given this wealth to Vikrant Saluja, a person who is dead and Vikrant hates the same people who gave him Vikrants name.

Its a conflict they haven't at all touched.

When Mannat clearly struggles with finances but doesnt take his help thats probably when it pinches him. She no more seeks him but will not even consider him. Even for his wealth.

Calling her GD looks like a deliberate attempt to hurt her out of anger more than the actual words.

I guess they do wanna address his class bias post leap, thats why they have brought Yashika. If we see, both Yashika and Mannat come from same class, middle class but Yashika has faked her persona to fit into the rich circle while Mannat is who she is. If we keep aside the love part, we can see the difference between the treatment by Vikrant towards the two ladies. He trusts Yashika, doesnt demand proofs from her, doesnt mind if she lives off his money, never bothered to cross check her background in all these years. He is the same with Malla for all these years. Despite her being horrible in the past, he doesnt mind her presence, she lives off his money without any work, he still doesnt mind. As you said, its kind of his bdb image, like a provider and protector image which he likes to keep.

If we come to Mannat, he loves her, but the lack of trust is surely visible. He accuses her at the first chance he gets. He still calls her gold digger despite witnessing how she is still grounded and works everyday to earn and take care of everything. I guess its his frustration towards her that she managed to live without him for all these years and now also it doesnt seem she wanna depend upon him. He wants her to keep him on that pedestal again. Even in Valentines dream, he saw her to come to him and apologize. He always wants her to take first steps and make him feel wanted and give validation.

Malla and Yashika's exposes hopefully will open his eyes. I feel now post leap, Mannat wont be bothered much abiut what he thinks of her. She wont bother to give him proofs. She used to run behind him due to her attachment to him and she was somehow bound to him. Post leap, she will be taking shots without minding him.

About wealth, I still feel the best solution will be him going bankrupt somewhere down the line.

Y is definitely for him to see this bias... and it had come through Y herself. Early on she has said she pretends to be rich because Vik would prefer someone from their social class (I might be paraphrasing) ... I suppose she doesnt know the exact reason why ManVik broke up but she does know Mannat is poor...

I totally agree on the bankruptcy part .. it will open Viks eyes for Yuvi too 🙄
