17:45 Local Time, 12:15 GMT, 17:45 IST: England’s win over Italy means that West Indies and England are the two teams moving on from Group C. Because of this, today’s match between Nepal and Scotland is the first dead rubber of the tournament, as both teams are already out of the race for the Super Eights. Even though they cannot qualify, both sides will be hungry for a win to end their tournament with a positive result after a few disappointing losses.

Nepal has struggled with batting lately, and their star players haven't been in top form. They will need to step up today against a very strong Scotland spin attack that has taken 11 wickets so far. While Nepal has the advantage of playing at the Wankhede Stadium in front of their loud and supportive fans, Scotland’s bowlers will make it a difficult challenge. It should be an interesting battle between Nepal's hitters and Scotland's confident spinners. Toss and team updates in a bit.

Richie Berrington: We would have looked to bowl first as well. We have showed good performances throughout this tournamet.

Rohit Paudel: We will bowl first. Finally we won the toss win. I think the wicket for the first four or five overs, it's been a bit tricky, but whoever bats well in the first four or five overs can capitalise later in the innings. The first five overs have been a difficult task. So as a bowling unit, we need to make the most of those five overs. If you see collectively in this tournament, first game we batted really well. After that, I think in both the games we didn't bat to our expectations. So we would love to bat well and have some good partnerships in the middle. We have one change - Sundeep Jora in place of Karan KC.

Nepal have won the toss and have opted to field

Richie Berrington: We were probably going to look to bowl first as well. But it looks like a good surface. Obviously our first game on this pitch here tonight. So it's going to be important that we adapt well. And when we bowl first, we have to do really well. I think we've shown a lot of good performances through this tournament so far. Definitely a couple of areas that we'd like to improve on. And tonights another good opportunity to do that. (Talking about his Strikerate against spin) Yeah, obviously it's one of my strengths. And I think it's just backing my best options. And thankfully it's come off so far. And obviously it'd be nice to do it again tonight. You know, we're in a bowl. That's one of their strengths. So we're going to have to play that part of the game really well.

Rohit Paudel: We'll bowl first. Finally, we got the toss win. I think the wicket for the first four, five overs is going to be difficult, but whoever bats good in the first four, five overs then can capitalise at the later part of the inning. But the first five overs have been a difficult task. So as a bowling unit, we need to make most of that five overs. If you see collectively in this tournament, the first game we batted really well.
