Yes, falsifying a child's birth certificate is a serious criminal offense which leads fines or imprisonment for several years, depending on the jurisdiction and specific statutes violated..if they follow the court case diligently...

The question circles back to where would Dua be safe??? With Mannat or with Vik??

I responded to Betty on the proposal bts so after Mannat realises they are not married. I wanted Mannat feel a pang of sadness or guilt that Vik is missing out on his own daughter, and the damage her lie will lead to in the long run. As ultimately both parents have rights and responsibilities on their child.

Yuvi isn’t Mannat’s son ….. but Vikrant is Dua’s father so clearing DK and clearing Y-Y are different things.

If Vikrant did come to know Dua is his daughter, why we so think he wouldn’t be nice to Dua, his anger and resentment has been reflected towards Mannat and DK based on his perception they betrayed him. Admittedly Vik is surrounded by the vamps, which none of us are happy about at all.

And only in later post I mentioned custody. There are countless divorced or separated couples that share custody, it doesn’t have to be one or the other, but the longer Mannat holds on with the pretext DK is the father, the greater the case Vik will have in fighting custody. Mannat would be right to put the case that Vik’s living arrangements are unhealthy for a young child, and Family courts would ultimately decide, setting conditions and parameters if the parents can’t agree on an amicable arrangement.
And who knows, just as at the moment Vik is choosing to be indifferent so that they indirectly accept money for Neetu’s treatment he may forsake his rights for to be involved in Dua’s life for his daughters happiness. But Mannat shouldn’t deny him the fathers rights.

Bold... didnt get your point here... I mean why post proposal???? If I remember Mannat did express her pain in her solo scene after the ice Gola event where for the first time she had said hamari Dua.

I didnt get why post proposal... as that has no bearing on the truth Mannat believes which is Vik rejected the child... rather doesnt even believe it could be his. So how does it matter?

Red... he will be nice to Dua after he knows the truth... but it goes back to why should he be told? Just because he is a biological father?

Blue... I see it differently... or I was since the pre leap where I remember saying the divorce paper actually made Viks case stronger... Malla actually helped Vik in this matter by providing legitimacy to terrace wedding.

Birth certificate is a different issue... but both for Birth certificate and Mannats honor during the pretend marriage with DK... there is a big proof and validation in form of Ronnie and Neetu to some extent that there was nothing untoward between DM.

Pink... this I do believe... my point is it should happen when Mannat feels Vik is deserving enough... not because the audience wants it.

And we all know it will eventually happen.

Vaise there is a silver lining... if Vik finds out later that DM are not married... he can use the same divorce papers to claim he cant marry Y 😝😝😝😝😝

This proposal looks like a lesson to Vik that he has taken a hasty decision 😳
