I do agree... and I have still not understood why they added that scene... but most importantly how was Ronnie all okay with it???? Not even a second of protest 🙄

I am confused , what do we want Vikrant to do in this scinearo since his character is not aware of Y being a GD like us audience?

This is fiction beyond fiction where only FL is made to find out things , figure out all the details in one go, ml is used will only find out details when the track is ready to be wrapped up. Molestation fl got molested once and ML 3 times still no justice for either of then, so multiple proposals or marriages is easy peasy.

I didnt get why post proposal... as that has no bearing on the truth Mannat believes which is Vik rejected the child... rather doesnt even believe it could be his. So how does it matter?

Red... he will be nice to Dua after he knows the truth... but it goes back to why should he be told? Just because he is a biological father?

Blue... I see it differently... or I was since the pre leap where I remember saying the divorce paper actually made Viks case stronger... Malla actually helped Vik in this matter by providing legitimacy to terrace wedding.

Birth certificate is a different issue... but both for Birth certificate and Mannats honor during the pretend marriage with DK... there is a big proof and validation in form of Ronnie and Neetu to some extent that there was nothing untoward between DM.

Pink... this I do believe... my point is it should happen when Mannat feels Vik is deserving enough... not because the audience wants it.

And we all know it will eventually happen.

Vaise there is a silver lining... if Vik finds out later that DM are not married... he can use the same divorce papers to claim he cant marry Y 😝😝😝😝😝

This proposal looks like a lesson to Vik that he has taken a hasty decision 😳

I only raised the proposal as up to that point Mannat only had Y’s stretched version of V-Y-Y closeness to go by otherwise seeing Vik with them from a distance. The proposal confirmed for sure they weren’t married.
And agree it has no bearing on what Mannat feels towards Vik being Dua’s father, nor her believing that he rejected the baby and divorced her (general consensus that he rejected it being his baby).

My grasp of Hindi isn’t perfect so I may have missed blue Mannat saying hamari beti after the ice gola event but I do recall now that Mannat was crying in her bedroom and Dua/DK cheering her up, however that’s one off, we’ve had umpteen scenes where Mannat without any show of regret/guilt asserting DK is Dua’s baba. It’s this that surprises me very much, but perhaps as Betty reminded me Mannat can block unpleasant feelings easily, so perhaps she’s reached a stage where she doesn’t consider Vikrant Dua’s biological father.

We’ll see soo why the writers had the BC scene, and Mannat’s justification so let’s wait.

So when Mannat came upon Vik’s bio truth, she pleaded with RoTu to tell him, because its his birth truth and has a right to know, and Vish’s version was very quickly going to force the issue so it was better to come clean. Similarly my point in green is its Dua and Vik’s truth, but he’s in their lives again, clearly doesn’t know this truth but will do soon, so Mannat isn’t going to have the liberty of choosing or waiting ‘til Vikrant is deserving enough to know. Does Mannat fear Vikrant’s revenge to the extent that he would snatch Dua away from her forever, and the courts of the country would allow him? Sadly it could be a repeat of Vish’s truth blowing up in RoTu’s lives, on her and Dua soon if she and DK continue to hide behind their lie.

Red - yes very much hoping the divorce papers gives him the perfect loophole to get him out of marrying Y 🎉
