Why is Karan doing so much ass-licking of Rani!!?

From 30 years of this that and blah blah blah to constant tweets about Mardaani 3 and how it is such a success and Rani the Queen etc etc..

This seems so fake and extra tbh

I don't know how Kjo and Rani's equation was earlier when she was doing his films but right now he is just acting like her unpaid PR

Aditya Chopra is his cousin.

KJo always butters up the rich and famous and yaha toh there are many factors: they are family + Chopras are rich & famous (+ KJo has always been fond of Rani). He wants to keep reminding people that he launched Rani in KKHH (nvm that weird Raja Ki Baraat film).

Also, YRF is back to doing well again. Meanwhile, this guy has sold half the stake in Dharma. He needs contacts more than ever (coz he maybe filthy rich but rich people are always trying to get richer).

I wonder what Rani really thinks of him. KKHH was Kajol's film out and out. And Rani just had a cameo in K3G. Except Kabhi Alvida, has Rani done a lead role in any KJo directed film? (And we all know how much Rani likes Kajol) He had always chosen Kajol earlier and now it is Alia.

PS: For the longest time I felt so bad for Rani and Salman's characters in KKHH.

There was a time when I thought that Karan's praises for Rani were genuine... I don't have this feeling anymore since a while (but of course my feeling could be wrong).

In KANK, he wanted Rani in the role that Preity played and Kajol in the role that Rani played... it shows how little he knows Kajol... and SRK-Kajol would not have done the love-making scene anyways. He even had in mind to cast Ajay as Kajol's husband on which Kajol would have cheated in the movie...
