The report doesn't say how many are female (women, girls), but going what it says about the no 1 in missing persons (USA), one can assume that also in India the majority are female.

When I asked AI, how many female persons vanished in Delhi 2025, I got:

"In 2025, Delhi recorded 24,508 missing persons cases. Women accounted for over 60 per cent of these cases, with 14,870 women reported missing, the highest number recorded in a single year. Men accounted for 9,638 cases. While police traced 15,421 individuals, 9,087 cases remain unresolved."

If one goes with these number, then - in 15 days - 611 women (adults and girls, I think) were reported missed (statistically). So, the numbers could be right, right? And I bet, even more vanished, simply not reported.
