I called and apparently is Hotstar issue about corporate reshovel. Hulu stated they're just the carrier they don't upload all is done by Disney Hotstar.
The rep seem a little testy, you think they're tired being blamed

That's my issue too to get Jiohotstar, I think I'll have to buy virtual india number

disney hotstar ? I thought Hulu bought both Disney and hotstar.. what a mess! Why don’t they upload same content to Jio hotstar and hulu hotstar?

which vpn did u get? I maintain an indian number too as we are allowed multiple esims now.. I do recharge min to keep the num active..
I bought NordVPN. It’s still not working on my laptop as my WiFi service is blocking most vpn websites. So I had to access it through my phone internet. I can only access Nortonvpn through the laptop WiFi. It’s the Jiohotstar which is asking me for Indian phone number to send a code to confirm, not the vpn
