I checked, Dhurandhar has crossed Jawan in most of the south Indian territories except Kerala

But the issue with Dhurandhar 2 is clash with toxic

If I am not wrong, Jawan is highest grosser from bollywood in many south Indian territories and the state of Kerala so we already have a benchmark to cross

But it will be difficult because they won't share screens in Karnataka

Dhurandhar like Jawan should look for local exhibitors and distributors who can get as many screens as possible

Let Toxic also commensurately get 5 percent screens in Hindi states, see how much they cry then about unfairness and I say this as a South Indian with origins from Karnataka.

It could happen... anyways, the promoting campaign through social media is in full swing smiley1

Again, I wouldn't compare Jawan with Dhurandhar 2... to me, Jawan presents a prolific collaboration of North & South Indian Cinema. Dhurandhar 2 is completely Hindi filmindustry, just with dubbed versions... like Pushpa 2 was a complete Telugu production with a dubbed Hindi version. Both are simply serving/profiting from a pan-Indian market.

It's a pity that in those technically advanced times Indian movies still aren't automatically dubbed in the main languages... that would give work to dubbing artists, prevent costly remakes and give more unity in diversity to India.

I don't know how true it is what you posted with the three tweets. It's fine if so many Indians in the South also understand Hindi.
