I was counting on this to happen since the leap and I definitely feel that the reason they gave DK romantic feelings for Mannat is to counter whatever crap they are planning to show with YV.
I just hope Vik ki izzat bachi rahe 🙈
They could have elevated Vik without bringing down DK... but ofcourse usme Y ka kuch importance nahi rehta....

On Yuvi... I totally agree... whether Vik has adopted him or not.... Vik is the only person behaving like a parent for him... none of the others are interested in his upbringing... and while Vik does correct Yuvis behaviour at times... its obviously not enough 🤦♀️
I was prepared for this Dk angle so i knew comparisons will happen. My issue is when people act like yeh rishta kya kehlata hai with dk mannat and not with yashvik. They have cleared about dk mannat so much, like they have been friends for 7 years, manage a house together, bound due to dua. I get that its tricky due to Dk's sudden confession but even he has cleared that he knows it wont be reciprocated so he cherishes Mannat's friendship, still people go on and on.
Meanwhile who is yashika in Vikrant's life? Friend? Definitely not. Gf? People are refusing it. Folks now try to give different labels for her everyday to justfiy her standing in Vikrant's life, be it his PA, Yuvi's nanny, buisness partner etc etc. They spread the narrative that he doesnt care about her, she is just there in his life and the minute he acts obligated to her, people make excuses.
My issue is, extend same treatment towards both the leads. Both of them have third wheels attached to them as per their temperament. Makers have kept the balance but people only love to drag Mannat alone.
