Inglorious Basterds is one of the movies , amongst the other Tarantino classics, I really love watching on repeat because of the way how loaded and well crafted each of the scenes were...I loved Brad Pitt but undoubtedly Cristopher Waltz's quirky and ruthless Hans Landa's parts (originally supposed to be played by Leonardo btw) are the ones I absolutely love to watch on repeat...Since Ranveer got to play Hamza which is somewhat of a The Departed's William Costigan of Leonardo , now I am greedy to watch him in something like what Christopher Waltz did in Inglorious Basterds....

Also like some member suggested Chandragupta Maurya to be made with Ranveer,, can't take that out of my mind...The story has two leads one Chandragupta Maurya himself and the other is Chanakya, his chief advisor...After watching their camaraderie in Dhurandhar, think Ranveer and Akshaye will do justice to these two roles...But its a huge historical spectacle which needs elaborate planning, something only a SSR or SLB can fathom atp...Regardless, Chandragupta Maurya's story is something that deserves to be told...

I'd love him in a movie in the vein of Inglorious Basterds, but not sure if such movie would find appreciation. Sometimes I find Indian viewrs ( or cfertain PRs) being too sensible and ready to jump on anybody for any felt 'bad' intention or 'mockery of sentiments'. But yeah, movies in the vein of Snatche tc would be great. Watched EKO (south movie) the other day and loved the idea there with the dogs trained for protection/imprisonment. I will have to read on the Chandragupta Maurya. I am not familiar with the story/history. Someone mentioned the KNIVES OUT movies ( I was just saying the other day I'd like Ranveer in a movie in the vein of Layer Cake). So yeah, a smart muder mystery that has some great twists or even action (chasing a serial killer and so on). But yeah great ideas, ty for posting !

For @you2: I thought that Dhar and Ranveer have already discussed a possible Ashwatamma( i think I read in some online news, but it ccould be just papers publishing something to get traction). Now Dhar can afford the budget. I am sure he will get a ton of offers and production companies ready to pour money onto his next movie. This would be awesome and I truly hope they can will work together to get this project going !

It obviously has to be rebranded as per the Indian sensibilities ....Subject matter has to be different, I am just talking about the character build and execution which is simply superb....I think its right up Ranveer's alley....

Not sure about a movie but a Public Speaking course wouldn't hurt. Maybe he can take Queen Deepika along and get a couples discount.
