Gautam seems like a crybaby now who is hiding his faults behind trauma shield of Mere parents mujhse pyaar nahi karte.

Shobha said exactly that. He is blaming his parents for everything that went wrong with his life even now like a typical child. But considering that he is in his 40s it’s a manchild here and that’s what makes it unattractive and cringe.

He can have complaints about his parents not putting in perhaps a bit more effort to see what was going on in his life but if he lies and hides things from them, ignores them, how much can they do?

He expects the responsibilities of the elder son of this house to be handed over to him but fails to account that his dad is exactly that?! His mom thereby is the eldest bahu and hence they’re effectively managing this humongous family and they’re bound to be distracted by someone or the other always. They’re bound to be busy and cannot spend their whole time focusing on one person alone even if it’s their own child.

Besides he’s an adult, how does he expect them to coddle him even now?

That conversation gave away an important clue through Shobha’s dialogue about the crux of Gautam’s resentment towards his parents and Tulsi in particular.

He’s clearly inherited his share but he lost what he got by his poor decisions. Now he’s blaming Tulsi for loving Karan more than him.

His issues about Karan aren’t as much about the fact that his mom has a favourite son, one who isn’t even biologically hers. It’s that he’s equating Tulsi’s affection and love for her children directly with their success. And at this point he’s feeling like despite being the oldest he’s the most unsuccessful one of them all. Even Angad, despite his financial situation is at least faring well in terms of his marriage, which is more than can be said about him. He probably has no clue Hrithik attempted suicide and Mittali had a part in it.

He clearly hasn’t got the whole story. He doesn’t know Tulsi inherited the property that Baa willed to Parth temporarily as a trustee of sorts, but could appoint him legally to the position courtesy of his age at the time.

He’s partially informed and wholly in denial of his accountability towards his own success and failures both on personal and professional fronts. He seems like he’s a decent lawyer, better than he was as a businessman at least but he would rather focus on the losses than the wins.

Moreover he would rather equate his mom’s equation with Karan as being a product of how she’s biased towards her kids and has a favourite based on the success her kids have achieved rather than admit that Karan was a better son, a better child to their mom than all the kids combined have been so far. Tulsi has to solve that inferiority complex of his now as well so he can heal and stop blaming his parents for everything that went wrong with his life.

She’s delusional and a desperate fool of a woman who is trying to make herself feel better and superior by imagining herself as a winner in a nonexistent competition wherein she thinks of Tulsi as her opponent.

In every serial vamps think they are the smartest. First they make plans to separate the leads and when they succeed they become overconfident. Due to this overconfidence they start doing things that directly or indirectly bring the leads closer. Here also Noyona thinks that by keeping Mihir and Tulsi away from each other for six years, she has won. But the fact is separation from Tulsi has made Mihir realize her importance in his life. When Tulsi was with him he took her for granted. When she left him, he started realising his mistakes. Earlier Noyana atleast had Mihir's friendship and well wishers in Virani family. Now she has nothing. So while Noyona thinks she is the winner, in reality she is a big loser and Tulsi will defeat her again and again
