So… lots happened in yesterday’s episode mostly dominated by Gautam being back to his Gomzi mode (as he was even being addressed by Hemant and Mihir).
But my topic is not about him (not this one - I’m gathering my thoughts on that one, trying to frame them in a cohesive manner) but Noina and the trap of her own making she’s about to find herself in.
Noina’s gloating was obvious in these episodes since Gautam popped up back again, more visibly so when he made no bones about being against his family and his parents in particular with whom he shared his grievances… god knows how many years too late. I know it felt annoying to watch her smirk but that’s where the classic mistake happened which most villains/vamps make.
Now let me walk you through the 3 traps Noina created for herself, while believing sh was laying them down for Tulsi all along.
1) Noina ensured all those years ago to get in Pari’s good books and get her on her side to get closer to Mihir. She succeeded in her mission thanks to Pari’s help too in some measure. She scored her brownie points with the girl by helping her marry her Ran… her dream turned nightmare. She was miffed when Pari didn’t come to her to get rid of him not too long ago when it took her no time to go weep all over Tulsi once she showed up.
But how could Pari do that? Pari saw the truth of a claim her mom made ages ago when she was comparing her to Noina. The claim - that Mihir and she have a relationship that’s weathered storms and endured for decades. They can have their rough patches but they are a unit at the end of the day.
Pari saw how Noina might have had a hold on her father for a while, when her parents were going through a tough phase but Tulsi’s hold on him is eternal. Mihir wouldn’t care to pay heed to Noina any less if he tried. What was the use of approaching her when she had no sway left over her father?
Moreover, pride and shame also stopped her. But nothing stopped Noina from ever noticing Pari’s injuries for years and yet she did that.
Where Tulsi needed mere days to notice what was happening to her daughter at her husband’s hands while Pari was effectively on a radio silence mode with her out of shame, embarrassment and guilt at that.
The very daughter who once conspired against her parents is now the reason why they have started talking again working together truly after 6 years.
2) Dev’s engagement to Saloni was again flaunted by Noina as her success where Tulsi failed… and now we shall see the repercussions of the same playing out in some time whether this marriage happens or not at the end of the day.
Noina didn’t think this through - I said it back then and I say it again. Did she really think that the Viranis and Baapji’s as of yet unnamed family would have a wedding in a court with barely 2 witnesses present? Or some other small ceremony with hardly any family members, friends, relatives (in-laws of various Virani sons and daughters) business associates, clients and other acquaintances of the family? Did she think it would be a small affair? An Indian wedding? Really? We are no longer in the pandemic era and weddings even then comprised of at least a couple of dozen people at most places.
Now with the wedding preparations getting kickstarted, Tulsi will have to move back in again at SN … to ensure she can help save SN lest their cover is blown.
3) Gautam - ah, the last one is truly the crowning glory. Gautam is TuHir’s Achilles heel. The child they’ve had the worst luck with and the one they have loved the longest. Mihir lost almost the entire first year of his life, then Kiran Aarti kidnapped him. When he returned he was a spoiled brat by all accounts whom Tulsi reformed with sheer grace, determination and affection as well as sternness that only mothers are capable of displaying.
Now that son’s life is in shambles, worse, he’s made his parents feel guilty about their lack of parenting and presence (not wrong about those either) in these past years. So… does Noina think those two are going to sit by idly as their son suffers, NOW, that they know about his circumstances?
Truly, an astonishing lack of common sense being displayed with that one. Like has this woman ever met any parents? Real parents? The kind who love their kids? Because if she had she’d have rather preferred Gautam’s life stays in the dark than pave way for his return herself. She may think she has gained a weapon against Tulsi. What she’s done is ensured that the hole she was digging is finally getting wide enough for her to fall into it herself, while she has no idea she’s standing at the precipice of it, at the verge of that slightest of movements that would ensure her fall into it.
Her caliber is limited to emotionally blackmailing people with suicide drama.
