Yes, definitely... this are powerplays which belong to the kind of politics not only done in India... it's named - with a military term - 'capture of the entertainment industry'... it belongs to the concept of this political system because it is known (and was experienced 100 years ago) that the entertainment industry is an excellent tool to manipulate people (especially on the emotional and distracting level). One has to divide people to get the power one want, so people would go against each other (in India, the narrative wants it being Hindus vs Muslims) instead of keeping a sharp eye on the government. The movie industry (for this government the Hindi one) is used for that.
Just to add: In his Republic Day tweet, SRK posted: "our country teaches us there is strength and unity in diversity." (and I read other tweets on this day which reflect the same thinking)...it is the country, not the government, who teaches it... patriotism doesn't strive on dividing...

His nonchalant attitude is what gave him success..abhi wohi cheez bhari pad rahi hai usi pe..he is least interested aswell looks confused as an actor ke what kind of expression to give..! Co star matters for an actor.. he have zero chemistry with chitrangada...
