"Since Series is already in the pocket, India should have tried Batting First as an experiment to check their Defending Skills. This way they are over reliant on Toss and might suffer when put to Bat first against a Big Team in the Upcoming T20 World Cup!!"

Vikram : "I respectfully disagree with the host's opinion on replacing Sanju with kishan. One, it's too early to take such a huge call. Two, if Kishan loses form at the start of the WC, will you again bring Sanju in, who by then would be undergoing loss of form and confidence. Great teams don't chop and change too much. Back Sanju. He will come good. "

Jay: "India should have batted. The series is in the bag. . Must look forward to defend the title and cover all the bases by bowling second in wet condition."

Devon Conway and Tim Seifert are out in the middle. Can they get NZ off to a flier today? Arshdeep Singh stands at the top of his mark

Negative match-ups for Conway: Conway has been dismissed by Arshdeep and Harshit Rana four times and twice respectively in T20Is. Out of form as well, he is likely to get out in the powerplay once again.

Good comeback from from Arshdeep.

Even before I said something about Rana, he gave 10 runs already in two balls.

Cheers..

Sanket: The game time for Bishnoi means India is not sure about Washy’s fitness. In his absence, he can be a good addition considering he will be 3rd spinner which India won’t go towards unless they play on a very very turning track or want to have leggie based on match ups. Bishnoi has done well in the last game so few good performances here will strengthen his position.

Sarthak: Expect Hardik to now bowl today. Selecting an extra bowler for a batter means he is playing purely to get some batting time in the middle!” Could well depend on the match situation I think.

Ravi: We’ve talked enough about Abhishek and Ishan. The next two matches could be about finalizing the seam attack from Bumrah, Arshdeep, Harshit and Hardik extending support.

Harshit being magnanimous today to the Kiwis smiley37

Seifert batting aggressively: NZ's scores in the powerplay this series - 50/2, 64/2 and 36/3. Expect the Kiwis to keep attacking and score in excess of 50 in the first 6 overs.

India opt to bowl

Ravi Bishnoi to Conway, SIX, NZ score 71 runs from the powerplay!

Ravi Bishnoi to Conway, FOUR, short and wide outside off, Conway cuts it uppishly and manages to beat Abhishek Sharma's dive at point. He was flying to his wrong side as he stretched his right hand out, but couldn't grab it

Sagar : Seifert is a one man show. He is giving India a taste of their own medicine. Super Seifert.

Manikanta: “NZ came out with extreme intent and are going at less than 12 in power play. Says a lot about the intent Abhishek brings to the team given India easily gets into 15 in PP.”

Deep Gadhia tells me, “This is the best power play for NZ vs IND in T20Is, previously being 68-0 in Auckland back in 2020.
