Her biggest mistake was lying to Vikrant. But she did not deserve the treatment Vik gave her and I will stand by that.
Vik ‘s biggest mistake was his anger and his impulsive actions where he chose the people he wanted with him. And again Malla being part of it is something that is not sitting well with me.
the biggest issue for me was always Vikrant marrying Mannat in secret, consummating the marriage and then even thinking or questioning the marriage when he didn’t think the same during Malla’s time. How does he have different values for Malla and Mannat? Clearly he said if he slept with Malla then he had to marry her !
Nnow you guys will say Mannat ditched him and all then clearly I have nothing to add or justify.

But I kind of started ignoring it because it was becoming tough for me to justify him if I kept thinking about it.

Now I am in a good space where I feel all that happened pre leap is done and dusted. Let’s focus on post leap. Which is what the writers are stretching or meandering too much.

After reading your post, I am starting to realize Somehow calling out Mannat's actions as wrong or not liking DK is being equated to not knowing what Vikrant had done was wrong pre-leap.

I will reiterate again if anyone missed my stance , Vikrant's mistake is/was his anger, CA Mannat just for a mere photo, leaving her at the altar and Mannat's mistake was lying to Vikrant and siding with RoTu and DK even after Vikrant's memories were back and they didn't have Dadi.

Never knew it was ok to call out Vikrant without filters since I did so until funeral episode, but the same rule doesn't apply for Mannat 🙈.

And Absolutely she should keep in mind the well being of her unborn child and no ARS and Mannat are not the same. This is why I called out Neetu aswell isn't it when she sneaked Dua to go meet Vikrant since Mannat should reveal this truth and not anyone else ?

My question though was on the moral compass if we will judge characters based on gender to decide what is right vs wrong ?

Arre yaar, I don’t like DK myself. That’s what I have been saying. I’m not even bothered about DK. He is a fly to be squatted away.

Mannat was wrong .. that’s also what I am saying. You wait till she knows Vikrant didn’t know about the pregnancy. Her redemption will also begin. At this point she doesn’t want to disturb Dua’s life. That is all.
I did not like her dialogues today and the harshness about it but like Padma said her experience has made her hard and cynical.
Like Vikrant has become like stone.. he doesn’t react to a child Dua.. because he has lost his innocence and his inherent ability to see good in people.

Both are victims of Rotu, Vishakha, Malla and ARS.
if the writing for Vikrant is terrible now I am sure the writers will turn it around too. Everybody gets hyper about Vikrant but I know he will turn around.
difference between our thinking if any, is this. My focus is the vamps and my focus like you is not DK. I’m getting bored with him. No offense to the actor. In fact I am not going to watch if this DK Mannat continues.

My focus is Manvik. For Manvik to even begin any step forward, the vamp camp has to disintegrate. I am waiting for that not because of anything except I want Vikrant to get back his family.

Initially even I felt Vik was the one who broke the relationship , but if we see episodes, it was mannat and rightfully so......from vik's pov he asked time from mannat.. And after that went to mezbani, then the entire hall fiasco, then terrace allegations where mannat broke up with him after allegations.. he didn't end it as per him ,his mezbani confession was exactly this there he says " instead of making me realise my mistakes she left me",he was expecting her to make him realise his mistakes and not breakup... But he cannot expect mannat to stay back and not breakup after all his allegations..

Even after all this he didn't intend to give up on mannat or forget mannat, that's why when he got to know about sruti's incident he says "yeh choti si purani baate leke baith nahi sakta main", for him he felt that "They were on a time out".... which he can solve in a few days...., this was the stance of mannat too that they were just on a time out....until she got to know she was pregnant.. Despite the terrace convo, him taking away property mannat felt he deserves another chance considering his memories and trauma, that's why they were planning to talk to vik again, it was mannat thinking that he rejected the baby that was last nail in the coffin.... This made mannat feel no matter what situation vik is in he is irredeemable for this thing (and she is right) , that's why she left the town... And vik might have not searched for her because he felt she won't forgive him or want him in her life, so he can't push his way through her life, so didnt search for her..

Not at all justifying vik, he is the one who is wrong for the way things turned out to be..but just saying that he didn't intend to leave her, he would have definitely got mannat back if mannat stayed back, but mannat leaving town made him feel mannat doesn't want him back, so he stopped trying.... But mannat is right in her stance too because she thinks vik rejected her baby...

The main concern is the baby here..

Being a single father or mother is not an easy job..

So many father's decide to stay unmarried so that they can look after their children properly...

If the case has been opposite i.e Vikrant ending up with Dua as single father & Mannat leaving him..all these sympathy empathy would have been in Vikrant's side only...

Wow isn't that prejudice based on gender? How are we deciding everyone will be ok and Vikrant will get the sympathy empathy without the scenario even played out ?

Infact the whole forum including me supported Mannat when Vikrant CA her and called out Vikrant, but all this is forgotten the moment Mannat is called out for her mistakes or in this case DK is called out.

This is quite weird how we want to judge characters not based on actions but based on who is with Vikrant vs who is with Mannat.

Mannat says a lot of things against Vikrant. Which were hard to hear. Her anger stems from his rejection of her and the baby and him giving divorce papers on Shruti’s funeral day. Him knowing about the pregnancy and giving divorce papers both are manipulation’s by people. When will those people be brought to book yaar?? Yeh Kya hai??

Ronny meets Vik at the market outside the hotel. And they have an argument with both accusing each other. Vik throws the brahmastra; they lied to him. Ronny admits it, he says they apologised and apologised but did he ever forgive them? He says not to come looking for Neetu. And be happy with the life he have chosen 7 years ago.

Mannat is feeling bad that Neetu accused DK of having feelings. She come to him with coffee . And apologises to him. She says she has got coffee for her best friend ( specifying)

ARS hallucinates that Mannat beats her up for killing shruti. Malla arrives to the rescue. ARS says they have to work very fast and be careful otherwise all the plotting of so many years will come undone.

Vish calls Vik and tries to find out from him about Mannat. She asks him if he has forgotten his mom after going to Indore. He denies it and says he was busy with Yuvi. She also asks him about Mannat and the ice kaand. He says he will come back and tell her.

Vish is happy thinking that the hate they poured between Manvik is still burning bright between them.

Pre cap: Vik seems to be standing outside their house watching them dance. Mannat senses him. Is it Mannat’s dream?

I have one query. Actually I am confused about Ronny and Vikrant’s conversation 🤔. Vikrant said he tried to find them. He even said how much hatred has instilled in you guys for me. He clearly said instilled not that you guys have for me.

Looks like there’s more to it. The way Mannat was manipulated by saying that he has nothing to do with her or baby may be it’s done same with Vikrant in other ways.

I have other doubt but I will say That aloud when time comes😜

I am surprised Mannat got shammed for that hug or even talking to DCP … I am tired of explaining that their relationship is beyond comprehension… don’t label it ….. accept that it’s possible to have such relationships in life.

If Vish or Malla were shown to grow up and be true friend of Vikrant I would support that… but the intentions vs DCP there is no comparison. DCP has no ulterior motive (at least now that is shown so far)
