That stability was based on lies. The marriage was never valid anyway as Prena would’ve never been with him if she had found out his truth about him drugging her, taking her inappropriate pics, sexually assaulting her, being involved in her child’s murder and so much more. But that egoistic madam was too busy in slapping Anurag all the time to find about the snake she was living with. Also, it didn’t matter how old they were because they were still going around marrying and divorcing in those ages. I tried watching the show but had to stop when Prena says no to marrying Anurag because apparently she thought to take care of dead bajaj’s adult children + 1 minor child but not take care of her own child Prem who was 2 years old and needed his mom. Also bajaj’s wife was alive. She genuinely loved her children and wanted to be close to her minor child, but this stupid Prena doesn’t allow her. She had no right to separate a child from her mother. Can you believe she cared more about a stranger bajaj who btw had blackmailed her in marriage and separated her from supposed love Anurag over her own toddler? I couldn’t believe what I was watching. Before watching the beginning of the show I thought I would dislike Anurag because so many had told me how he marries Komolika leaving Prena, but even him marrying Komolika made more sense as his mother faked illness and emotionally blackmails him than this Prena deciding to take care of grown adult children of a stranger person who had blackmailed her, separated her from her love, her child and broke her engagement with Anurag. Worse when she had a toddler child who was missing his mom badly yet she insisted to take care of someone else’s children. She just left her own child to Anurag and decided to take care of bajaj’s adult children + 1 minor child and live a life of widowhood forever. Those adult children were the same age as her. She was unbelievable. Then I lost access to hotstar to watch more.
As for bajaj, yes, that disgusting criminal got everything but not peace. He was always insecure of AnuPre. Would always get angry whenever they would meet. Just glad he didn’t get death in the end as death was too easy for him. He was left rotting alone in a mental asylum which was the best ending for a person like him. It would’ve been better if he was left rotting in jail, but the next best place was a mental asylum for him. Loved it

Actually nice! It has all the elements of a good thriller. If they will stick true to the adaptation (which is not likely probable) I might watch the show, even if the age gap is not something I’ll ever root for.
