KN was there when psycho ansh cornered nandini in lift but K brushed it aside cause hes tulsi maa ka beta she will sudharo him. after that whatever happened nandini didnt tell anyone. with time she fell into trap that this guy is changed good man etc
also before the hotel scene, ansh did everything to show that karan has grudge on him to the extent that he is destroying his business, trying to blame a death + his affair with nandini before and after marriage. savita and tulsi both felt last straw was affair so they ousted karan. and humara bechara mahan karan he was under that heavy weight of maa ka karj he didnt say shit
waise this time during mihir noyona reveal, tulsi and karan both spoke about karan being mandira ka beta and how tulsi sacrificed, so no one forgot that lol
Initially Nandani didn't tell it to anyone but later in the lift when he was about to assault Nandani, Karan comes. Nandani then tells him that he has been harassing her for quite some time.
Later when Ansh gets to know Nandani is staying with Viranis, he decides to start living with them and win over her. When Nandani sees him she decides to leave the home. Karan intervenes and doesn't let her tell the real reason and gives a view that Nandani is leaving because of a fight with him. he requests to not reveal else Tulsi will feel bad. Nandani just tells to Pooja(not complete reason) that she is leaving because of Ansh. but then Ansh reveals to everyone the entire thing and says he is the culprit...
Then they eventually decide to give Ansh a chance to redeem (Tulsi felt she is Ganga ma and any Papi will just become pure once she takes it up on herself) and Nandani says she would stay here but they would maintain a distance...
Later Tulsi had to go out for something (don't remember why in the show but in reality Smriti had taken a leave for campaigning in 2004 elections), she realises Ansh is alone so asks Nandani to befriend him (no idea why) Nandani agrees reluctantly
Then during Tulsi 's absence Ansh convinces Nandani that he will bring her and Karan together so as get her genuine friendship, while parallely getting Tanya to cause rift between them. He used to play her friend comforting her.
by the time Tulsi returns Karan and Nandani had huge rift so were hardly together while Nandani and Ansh were often with each other so she thought they love each other and thinks for their marriage.
But she says to Nandani if she is ready to become her bahu(not mentioning which son) and Karan overhears Tuhir talking that Tulsi wants Nandani as her bahu but before that she wants to speak to Karan as she is his best friend
both of them think that they are planning for Karan Nandani marriage and happily say yes about it.
Later when Nandani's parents come, they deny to Ansh Nandani marriage as they did not want Nandani marrying a family that includes an illegitimate child. Tulsi asks them to leave, Karan now gets to know that Tulsi wanted Nandani Ansh marriage and so for her happiness he goes to her parents to reconsider, but they insult him. Karan asks what would have happened had Nandani loved him instead, they say that they would have then broken every relation with her.
Karan thinking how his and Nandani's relation would have caused both his and her parents lots of distress decides to completely back off and plans with Tanya to convince Nandani that he loves Tanya so that she marries Ansh.
meanwhile Nandani gets to know that her alliance was being considered with Ansh and not Karan, so she decides to speak to him but Karan chides her saying he only loves Tanya... Nandani cries and says she doesn't want to marry Ansh
but Ansh meets Nandani's grand father and impress him. he accepts Ansh Nandani marriage. Nandani denies for it but he insists, later Ansh tells this family that Nandani loves Karan and not him.
Grandfather convinces Nandani that Karan isn't a good prospect while Ansh despite knowing the truth is willing to have her that's what a good person is..
Nandani having seen Karan having no interest in her and her family's happiness decides to move on and accepts Ansh' proposal. Ansh promises her that he would give her full time to move on
but on the first night of their marriage he gifts her a torn dress(that Nandani had shared into pieces with Ansh tried to gift her that while he was still stalking her) asking her to wear it.. Nandani gets shocked and then his truth is revealed to her on how he still is the same...
post that he started targeting Karan as he realised that despite marrying Nandani, she was still Karan's
They had this contrast of Karan and Ansh shown very beautifully. while Ansh who knew that Nandani needed time went across in a monster mode when Nandani didn't bow to his pathetic demand on the very first night, Karan who knew their love and had waited so long for marriage actually asked her to rest on their wedding night since she was pregnant (with someone else's child) and had already been stressed after huge marriage rituals..
