Maahi is Kavya's daughter who was forced on the Shahs and never accepted as a daughter by either Shahs or Vanraj or her biological father, Anirudh. She was raised in a hostile environment and was raised and tutored by Onupama to serve Shahs and lived in insecurity and yearning to be accepted.

Anss was Dimple-Samar's son who never got to see his father. Tapish married Dimple, accepted Anss and the condition to never have children of his own, became a ghar jamai, faced humiliation, had no say in Anss' upbringing and with Dimple's untimely death left the hellhole called Shahs and Anss under Onupama's tutelage. He grew up aimless, carefree, ready to coverup his surname and association to Onupama's for his gains. He grew up overnight when Onupama abandoned them after being thrown out to embark on a new udaan.

We know what Onupama and Shahs upbringing can do. Nothing good ever came out of that family.

Point I am trying to drive is, Anss is married to Prarthana who is pregnant with Gautam's child. Gautam is not giving up his parental rights.

So, who does the unborn child grow up to be?

Like Maahi who never gets accepted as a Shah

Or

Like a degraded version of Anss torn between Shahs and Gautam?

It is with this view that Kotharis seem right in insisting on Prarthana to stay and deliver the child at Kothari Mansion. What happens to this child when Ansh-Prarthana have their own child?

Pregnant women falling on stomach for drama was a plot point used so much in the 90s. Now it's just a funny cliche no one uses.

Shahs have proven time and time again that their words mean nothing. They have always abused anyone who is not their blood. They did it with Rahi, Mahi and all the random kids UpMaaa got home under the facade of helping them. They did it even with grown-ups like Anuj, Adhik, Tapish and even Dimple and Kavya. So it is clear what fate awaits Prarthana’s kid, especially if she has another child with Ansh. Kotharis, for all their fault, will at least provide the child with a stable environment and decent upbringing. That's something TamaShahs can never give.

I agree with you. If Prarthna’s unborn child is raised under the pathetic upbringing of trashy Upmaa and her group of Tamashah clowns, the child will almost certainly turn into Doshu 2.0 or Makhi 2.0. The Kotharis, at the very least, are capable of providing a stable and proper upbringing to Prarthna’s unborn child.

#AnuRaj ka Anss is as useless as his cousins Pari and Ishaani. Prarthna should serve divorce papers to #AnuRaj ka Anss as well and walk away without looking back. Since she has already served divorce papers to trashy Gautam, she should also leave her unborn child in an orphanage, instead of allowing the child to be dragged into this toxic environment. Prarthna should focus on getting a good job and rebuilding her life with dignity, rather than staying trapped in this endless mess.
