Yep, Noina was confident about her strategy of making Dev useless will work because she’s practically implemented it in her own family and seen the results. Two perfectly capable adult women are her puppets and happily at that.

I hope they incorporate more scenes of these munchkins with Amar and Smriti. They have good chemistry with these kiddos. Amar has been onscreen with 2 of them now, Smriti with all of them.

In OG Kyunki we barely got to see them as parents. Mihir was not around when Gautam was born, what little scenes they had with Gautam back then were with a literal toddler not yet old enough to even speak. So there were no cute conversations to be had.

Later Gautam got adopted and Shobha was born. But they went for a Gen leap after her birth, probably within two weeks or so. Those two weeks also were not about watching them enjoy parenthood. Most of the episodes iirc were about them crying and being absolutely miserable about Gautam being kidnapped and finding out that legally they had no right whatsoever to file a missing complaint for Gautam let alone file a case of kidnapping against Kiran and Aarti since they had legally completed the adoption process and were lawfully Gautam’s parents. As adults they had the right to leave SN without informing family, as parents they had the right to take Gautam with them.

Post leap, we all know Amar had quit the show back then and there were no kiddos to be around even if he had stayed on.

So would be cute to see them being grandparents to little ones who can ask them all sorts of questions, demand stories and play with them while also being adorable.

She needs a strategy because she’s not a mard and she wants to stay relevant to the Viranis even if she doesn’t become one herself ever.

Though for all we know, her obsession with Mihir not being fulfilled can drive her crazy to the point of getting married to Dev just to be near Mihir. Wouldn’t be the first crazy woman obsessed with someone else’s husband to even do that in a Balaji show or any Indian TV show for that matter.

I remember in Kumkum, Sumeet’s girlfriend turned fiancé Renuka would eventually marry Sumeet’s Tauji for her revenge and obsession as Sumeet in a spur of moment married his widowed SIL.
