He takes everyone at their word. No wonder he then gets upset when he realises he has been lied to.

Of all days to meet his daughter, the one day she is needing to tell multiple lies just to ensure her Mumbai trip is a success

Don't know if anyone will believe her when she says Babaji already forgave her for the lies and approved the trip.

Why I started with saying he hasn’t changed….. maybe his daughter is the one who will bring about his redemption (may take a little longer than we want) but let’s see how she charms him too. She’s a smartie just like her mumma ❤️

The main difference from pre-leap & his relationship to Mannat being he will always have to be the one to come down from his pedestal of "I am always right" and appease Dua

In the leap promo he looked khadoos in his interaction with Dua but so far what we have seen at least at the wedding, he seemed approachable enough. I wonder if Dua is going to get her way and compete when he didn't want her to hence the words from the promo about time is up and end of someone's time in the competition

Dua doesn't roll over easily. Her stare in that promo seemed to be challenging him as well. A change from the phone dialogue about the hotel booking.

Today's episode loved loved Vikrant - Dua scenes. Loved the way he made her sleep, removed her glasses, clipped them on his T-shirt and tucked her hair 🥺🥺

Cannot wait for him to find out how his near and dear ones took away a beautiful life from him, his Dua and Mannat 😭.

He is definitely going to go crazy considering how restless he was and wanted to go find her . Another Vikrant vs DK fight punches might be on the way seeing DK's reaction to Vikrant

I felt really awful for Mannat, her 12hrs hours are a mothers worse nightmare when her young daughter runs off/ is abducted 100s of miles away without trace…..but for Mannat that fear was piled on top of her recent anxiety reliving all her pre-leap trauma, her and Dua’s rejection and abandonment issues , her post separation fears and premonitions of Vikrant perceiving her as a liar,. And knowing Vikrant’s blind rage and impulsiveness her constant worry that at any time Vikrant will change his mind and take Dua from her. So her world came crashing down when she saw and heard Vikrant calling for Dua!

And equally I felt such a such pang for Vikrant, he was genuinely frantic looking for Dua as at that moment the little girl had been in his care, who had travelled 100s of miles alone to meet him, yet his momentary distraction resulted in loosing the child in a big city, the girl all alone without a phone or money. (I was annoyed with Vik that he wasted valuable time with ill mannered Yuvi, but at least he then rushed back to search).

And yes, loved today’s scenes….they were beautiful and I’m not sure who said they didn’t feel the connection as much as DK’s bond with Dua, well Vik is with ‘someone else’s’ daughter at the moment….there has to be appropriate contact, but was executed so beautifully and tenderly. So when Vikrant knows he’s Dua’s father, his emotions and connection will elevate exponentially, which I can’t wait to see.

The story can be twisted in so many ways now…..one thing for sure is the writers are going to give us, Vikrant, Mannat and Dua a very emotional journey ahead🙁

Adnan is superb and can’t wait to see him in the upcoming father-daughter scenes with Yami.

I skipped mentioning Mannat's part intentionally, was not up for discussing her trauma 😢. I felt her panic , trauma and the way she almost fainted hearing and seeing Vikrant calling out for Dua was so real 😭. Ayesha nailed the scene

Though Vikrant hasn’t changed in the 7 years, his anger was not altogether misplaced. From the moment he saw the little girl on her own, his concern for her well-being took over, but not realising that the little dynamo was telling a white lie, his reactions shifted to anger toward the ‘neglectful’ parents.

Dua is going to bring a storm into his life that he didn’t even realise existed …… and am looking forward to how Dua changes her papa ❤️ and wins her love, and his Ms Mannat’s again .

Just as a parent has enough love for more than one child, a child has enough love for more than one parent……so hoping that DK will eventually also realise that it isn’t one or the other, but both can be Dua’s Papa and Baba.

I still stand by my view that Dua Vikrant first meet could’ve been better fleshed out. What’s the point of ITV divinity when Vikrant treats his own child so horribly the way he treated to Dua. Yet he’s so accommodating towards that brat UV and his tantrums!

If we go by what was shown, Dua could’ve almost died after being pushed by Yashika, his gf and this godforsaken useless fellow is busy mollycoddling his gf and again being rude to Dua. Frankly if anyone badmouths or misbehaves my parents, I would react the same way Dua did!

@Shiro believe me I’m not happy in the lack of any growth, realisation and remorse let alone ownership of his characters own faults and in particular that he is such a poor judge of character to allow himself to be surrounded and leeched of his money, by these evil and useless people, so no offence taken.

I hope the purpose for moulding his character with all these faults that he treated his most loved ones despicably is so we get to see an equally worthy redemption to earn back loyalty and trust from his lost family even if it’s the hard way through his own rejection.
