World conflicts according to studies conducted by many researchers often operate on cyclical patterns, driven by recurring factors like resource scarcity, power struggles, economic instability, and social divisions, though these cycles aren't perfectly predictable.

According to them, after a conflict cycle of 20-30 years, there is approximately a peace period of 100 years.

For example:- Julius Caesar to Napoleon Bonaparte was a period full of conflict and violence in Europe followed by peace years.

Having said that war and violence inevitably result in the denial of human rights. Building a culture of human rights is a pre-condition to achieving a state of peace.

Building and maintaining a culture of peace is a shared challenge for humankind.

A culture of peace will be achieved when citizens of the world understand global problems, have the skills to resolve conflicts and struggle for justice non-violently, live by international standards of human rights and equity, appreciate cultural diversity, and respect the Earth and each other. But such learning can only be achieved with systematic education for peace, imbibing empathy and compassion in people all over.

This is one of the finest analyses of human conflict, capturing so clearly the deep need for peace in our unsettled world. Thank you for sharing your views here.

A significant counterpoint is that humans are not biologically obliged to war. Instead, conflict is often a product of complex social and environmental factors like scarcity, which can potentially be mitigated through learning and social change. While conflict may be universal, many believe that universal peace is an achievable ideal, even though it is difficult to reach in the present-day circumstances! This perspective emphasizes that diplomacy and due respect for human rights can significantly reduce the likelihood of war in this world.

In essence, the prevailing view in these discussions is that while the potential for conflict may be universal, its expression and severity can be managed through human choice, intelligence, and a commitment to peace.

It is sadly all about greed and power. Venezuala and Ukraine especially are targeted by Trump and Putin because of the Rare Earth minerals ( I understand that all these minerals are used in AI and other advanced technologies and as such, owing reserves of such minerals is a HUGE pririty for USA and Russia, because they can become a bargain point with the rest of the world, besides their utility in advanced industries). Oil, land is a bonus. This boils down to greed of some maniacs. I am not forgetting Iran's leader who wanted to control his area, or North Korea, or China.n Or anyone that wants to steal other countries's independence for their own profit. It is becoming more and more about who is the bigger bully. And as many have said, normal people suffer the consequences whilst these monsters make the world a ruin. I fear there will be constant fear now for Taiwan, Greenland and Mexico .. and then other countries. No one is safe, it seems, unless they have a huge army and 'big guns' or nukes. I hope that soon we all wake up and lock away the few that ruin this world for the rest of us.

In between all this Europe's condition is quite interesting.. On one end Russia is after Ukraine and possibly more ... On the other front US is expressing its wish to go after Greenland... Friend and foe - dono ek se badhkar ek.... Atleast we know we are only surrounded by adversaries alone ..
