In any country/army, there can be good and bad people. Because we don't like a country, it doesn't necessarily mean the whole bunch has to be abusive to their wives (even if they belong to a different nationality). A 'Pakistani' army man can be a decent husband despite not liking India. He wasn't shown to be chanting Jai Hind, after all, for his wife.

He simply indulged his wife's small wishes, like listening to classical music.

Opinions about movies are subjective, and I haven't seen either to comment much.

That'd exactly what I've been saying all along , if someone points out the truth about them ,then they're showing hatred for a certain community. Yeah sure easy and convenient way of burying all discussions and let's get back to hail Pakistan and Aman ki asha.

India did what it had to diplomatically. Whether it was right move or not for the nation , that's a different topic of discussion. But it helped an ailing nation suffering under brutality in their fight for freedom, so be it ! It was a " neki kar and dariya mein dal " situation.
