In the December 31st episode there is a very significant lifes lesson imparted by DCP to Sua how to anticipate the next move of her adversary.

Dua uses it to overpower DCP. It could be a foreshadowing of how she might outsmart the witches at a later poinr.

Good to see trp rise, hope the leap works well for them all, they are building the plot well.

The mezbaani scene was executed so well, both adnan ayesha nailed it. Mannat's longing despite the heartbreak and Vikrant's yearning and madness to see Mannat, all was done really well. It was like a cindrella story where she leaves behind her glass slipper and prince finds her from that. Alas, manvik's story aint a fairytale at all.

It seems either Vikrant will come at their food fair or guddi might manage to bring Bunty as well to mumbai, because the neighbours are needed to stamp dhairya mannat's relationship which will piss off vikrant more. My heart breaks for Mannat still. I dont know if that girl is ever gonna heal from her trauma. Her little baby has no idea what her mumma has gone through and she is unintentionally rubbing salt on her wounds. Mannat truly got so triggered over proof, bharosa, mumbai that she ended up scolding Dua hard which she has never done. Both ronnie and dk quickly gathered that something must have happened in Mumbai and both intervened. Idk if she will ever share with them what she saw in Mumbai or will let them see by their own eyes.

One thing this show has done well which lost didnt, is giving mannat a solid supporter in dk. Idk how his character will shape up in future, ik he has done blunders in the past but rn mannat needs a balanced friend like him and dk does that job well. When two people with clear thoughts talk, the convos always turn out well. Over the past 7 years they both have learnt to rely on eachother, support eachother, work as a team and it shows. I love how he didnt blame only one side. He tried to keep both sides equal. He made sure Mannat knows she was wrong to scold Dua but at the same time didnt invalidate her fears. He understood where she is coming from and didnt feel her low when she said she isnt a good mom. In all this he also presented Dua's pov well that she is a well raised child and always wants to do well. Its refreshing to see their convos, I hope mannat toughens up even more with dcp backing her as now Dua is close to meet the vamp camp.

Vikrant, as I said earlier, true example of sabkuch hoke bhi kuch na hona. The way Mannat still has an insane hold on him and he somewhere knows he lost the best thing of his life. Her memories haunt him and I'm quite curious to see how he will do mentally when one by one truths come out and he will realise how he played a major part to push her away so far that she seems unreachable, despite them having a kid together. Adnan does this so well, like you can see he has that distinct smile and shine reserved for both the girls, be it Mannat or Dua. Whenever he gets Mannat's glimpses, its like a new life breathes in.

About Yashika, idk how is he gonna come out of that mess. I dont see Mannat forgiving him easily or letting him part of her life soon. She will agree to co parent Dua but she wont let him come near her easily. Yashika herself ww Vikrant, her commiting some crime against Dua or some fbs can save him from Mannat.

Glad, the TRP increased. It gives writers more time to play with what they have in mind. The almost 45-minute episodes are good.

As of now, seen no growth in Vikrant. Neither from 6th Jan 2025 nor after the 7 year gap.

- M enters Mezbaani. Vik is bothered by her, & her memories. She steps in and remembers her time in Mezbaani. Vik looks up & sees her reflection. Hit and Miss no 1234, she turns, some sparkly floats around, he turns and hits Xmas tree, and some snow fluff floats around, so excuse no 1234, Vikrant doesn't see her clearly. M saw him, so she sprints away into her Midnight carriage ..auto. He comes running but misses her.

- M in the auto gets a call from Kaddu aunty who taunts her Dua joining the competition. Mannat is shocked that DK, Dua lied to her!

- Mallika, Vish enter Arzoo's room, to catch some tea on her. And voila ARS reveals herself. She takes them both to task for not doing much in 7 years. She says Y is on her way to doing the same trick malla did years ago, and may end up marrying Vik. (foreshadowing?). Malla is confident Vik will not love anyone except Mannat. But ARS knows Y is playing her game well. She confidently says she has put such fear in Mannat that she will never step foot into Mumbai ever.

- Vik stays back in Mezbaani to watch the auditions. His face lights up when he sees Dua's audition. She makes all familiar dishes, spun sugar etc. he is impressed, and selects her.

- IN Indore, Mannat walks in when Bunty tells Dua that she has been selected! She refuses to allow her. She says the elders will take care of the money issues, she needs to study. And what is the guarantee she is studying well. But Dua being Mannat's daughter talks back, & tells her you always ask for proof from me, you never believe me, . Sorry, it was fun to watch mannat spiralling into anger because of her being accused of saboot. Dua says she wants to open a restaurant in Mumbai, Mannat loses it, and yells at her very badly. Dua goes to school weeping. Ronny wonders of something happened in Mumbai; why is Mannat so upset?

- Vik is asleep on the couch, dreaming of Mannat. Y walks in and point to be noted, slowly, she is getting more dialogues. She tries to comfort Vik, and tells him he needs to accept a new situation to let go of the past. She says she is his partner, and friend. She has brought breakfast for him. Vik avoids talking much, answers in monosyllables. Malla calls him home to have breakfast with AR.

- DK and Mannat have a looong conversation about Dua. I thought it was too long winded, but it also gave an inkling into their relationship. DK clearly is protective about Dua. Will this become a problem later. He also asks Mannat if she saw Vik. She denies. Mannat says she doesn't want Dua to go to Mumbai ever, she won't be able to bear it if anyone ever disrespected Dua. DK tells her he will not stand it either. Ronny sees them and is thinking of Vik, about how he lost the girl who loves him so much, and his elder brother who is taking on all his responsibilities.

- Breakfast time at SM. AR comes with aarti. Malla & Vish are happy, ViSH also makes a faux pas, calls AR, as Aish. Malla changes it to Ashwagandha tea, & asks their help to bring tea for AR.

- Y walks in, & taunts Vish for not knowing that Vik slept in the office. AR is stunned watching her zone in on Vik with such ease. Y massages his neck, & says someone needs to take care of Vik, if noone else is bothered. She then turns on AR, & she tells her, how will she drink tea if she is so conscious about pollution & wears her mask. AR is caught! Round 1...goes to Yashika. Slowly, steadily, she is trying to show care for Vik. And he is uncomfortable but doesn't stop her, rather is beginning to relax, without him realising it (I felt).

- Y is cleverer than Malla. She is a version of Sonia Khanna. Clearly focussed on her goal, marrying Vik.

Pre- cap: Dua calls Vik.

Bold: the trauma of the way the S1 was ended, has put the fear in me to watch. I watch the clips that have the children or their BTS.Plus watching the cobras triggers me & their numbers are just increasing.

Missing Shalini & Sammy’s positivity & Punnu for his one liners.

I saw it more as a foreshadowing of a generation leap, where it becomes Dua Vs. Aishwarya.

The outhouse is beyond her reach but it was good to see Mannat bearing sindoor on her forehead entering Mezbaani. The setting for several Manvik moments.

Where their daughter will prove her identity.

Aish is going to wreak havoc all the way to next generation? Here i was hoping the pepper spray Dua was given will vanguish her in one go.
