So glad she didn’t take ronit as Mihir here. I would’ve stopped watching the this show long back. Besides he has no chemistry with smriti. It would’ve been so hard to tolerate him

Not sure if she was biased or was it that since he was immensely popular and viewers wanted him to see more.

But yes Karan was glorified, only time Tulsi was wrong in the entire show was when she favoured Ansh over Karan, otherwise she was always in the right.

Karan was definitely the lead and no one could have beaten him, but at least one of Tulsi's child son could have been at least someone like Sahil with at least some importance. Gautam was started as the lead and completely forgotten

She could have but for some reason she wants to show only one son capable in every generation. I mean look at it, in Gen 1 it was Mihir, then Karan and now it seems it’s Angad.

She can’t show more than one son capable at a time.

I have asked others who watched these episodes and they said it wasn’t explicitly shown. Ronit was her fav. Showed him having illegitimate in kasauti and Kyunki both. Tortured me as a child seeing him in both shows 😢

She always made sure Ronit’s characters had at least 2 wives and 6 children regardless of the show and channel for reasons beyond understanding

The only exception was when he played Bhisma in her absolutely atrocious Mahabharata.

When Gen 2 started they had a scene where Pandit ji says that the Kundalis of all the family members show that there should be complete destruction of the family, but it was only Gautam 's kundali that was so positive that it maintained the family..

From that important he was relegated to background.. that's why I meant at least he could have been like Sahil

I used to watch so many shows of Hiten back then( mid 2000s that my younger cousin, we used to have only one TV for the family back then) actually complained to my dad like "ye kya hai, ko serial achha lagta hai wo dekhe to samajh aata hai, lekin isko to Hiten ka koi ghatia sa serial bhi dekhna hota hai"

I actually watched Anwar and even Krishna Kottage only for him
