I found it quite symbolic that Dua ran to her mom, when she heard she was upset. And she was so busy with her mom and DK, she forgot about the live with Vik!

The dialogues sprouted by Yashika didn’t come across as someone who’s always had more of a one sided relationship. Maybe once they delve more into past story we might to know what shenanigans Vikku was up to. But I feel he’d be more into ONS, drinking and other vices but entry of Y-UV brought him out of that mess! And now he isn’t comfortable spiralling down that same path!

Vikrant is following Mannat when suddenly a car drives between them, splashing mud all over Mannat’s face. The person inside doesn’t notice her at all. Irritated, Mannat fumes that her clothes are completely ruined. Mannat kneels in prayer, her hands folded tightly, eyes closed. She whispers to Babaji, hoping for Shruti’s peace. Babaji, this city has given me so much, but it has taken so much away… the most precious of all was my Shruti maa. Mannat is busy serving people at the langar. The camera pans, and now Vikrant, on the other end of the line, steps forward to help serve as well. At the wedding venue’s stage, the lights suddenly go off. Everyone looks around in confusion. A moment later, the music begins, the lights switch back on, and we see Yashika standing on the stage. She starts dancing to a vibrant number. Vikrant turns and heads toward the kitchen, lost in thought. He hasn’t seen the head chef’s face yet, but deep down, he knows it’s her. He feels it in his bones. A whirlwind of emotions hits him thrill, pain, longing. Near the exit door, a photo corner is set up. Yuvi asks Vikrant to click his pictures. Vikrant happily obliges, saying, Don’t you want your MIMO in them? Yuvi makes a face and says no, then says she cuts me out of the pictures and only keeps pouting herself.

They have truly done such a good job setting up indore side. They all have wounds from past but still they move on and live in the moment by holding onto eachother. Obviously Dua is their center of the universe. Mannat and Dk have given her quite a balanced upbringing. She is a very handful kid, they let her free but at the same time keep her grounded. These family vibes used to missing sometimes in saluja mansion in the past. It was always some people being toxic, some plotting while some being miserable. This is a good change.

Mannat and Dhairya convos have to be some best written ones and even well performed. Dhairya is nothing but a supportive friend which mannat always needed. He acknowledges her pain, her opinions but makes sure to correct her gently as well. Both of them always seem correct from their povs. I wish they give us some fbs from their past because from their talk it looks like they have gone through alot initially.

Dk is very understanding and practical man, he knows at the end Dua is his brother's kid and someday this truth will come out. Mannat also seems right from her side. She is speaking from Vikrant's rejection as well as from her own personal experience where the relations made by love have played major part. She is extremely grateful for dk as he has put his own personal life in the backburner and dedicated himself to his brother's family. Dua is truly one healthy, content kid and credit goes to them all.

This fake husband wife setup helps them all but it indirectly saves vikrant too. When they must have come to indore with dk, it would have been like dcp with a pregnant young girl and an elderly couple. All 3 with different surnames. People would have definitely questioned mannat saying who is her husband, why did he leave her, did she have an affair with dk, why his parents are with mannat and if they would've revealed the truth, i'm sure nosy neighbours would have found sooner or later that who is her husband and would have crucified Vikrant saying how can he abandon his pregnant wife and parents, so finding this middle ground has helped them all.

They are establishing another thing quite subtley. Dua idolizes chef Vikrant, loves him but she is extremely attached and overprotective towards her mumma. As scar said, she was waiting for this live opportunity for long to chat with her idol but as soon as she got a whiff that mannat is upset, she immediately dropped it and ran towards Mannat. She didnt even remember it later as she got busy to pamper her mumma, just like how vikrant used to do with Neetu. It kinda seems no matter what happens, even truth reveal and custody battle, she will always choose mannat. Its a really good thing and it should stay like this.

The offer scene was also good. You can see DK is not at all replacing Vikrant in any of their lives, esp Mannat and rotu as he knows how attached these 3 were to vikrant. He is just being their strongest support whom they all are holding onto. Regarding Dua, he has his own bond, he acknowledges that he isnt her biological father but he has done so much for her since birth and always wants to protect her from any trauma. In return, dua is extremely attached to him and listens to him only after mannat. Their bond is truly selfless and lovely.

Small Ayesha’s IV in segment, due to Vik DK has suffered professionally and that’s why he didn’t have much to contribute monetarily. I guess past events will start unfolding in upcoming episodes.
