OMG the conversations here make me feel how much unique this Love triangle of Tanya Karan Nandani was (actually it was a pentagon Shradha - Ansh - Nandani - Karan - Tanya)

I mean people are discussing this after like 20 years.

To be honest Tanya for most part wasn't completely bad. She was feeding only her part of the story to her children and probably wanted them to be completely with her (since she had a weak foundation for the family for herself. That's something she only had herself to blame for)

It was a very different and unique situation in which three people- one couple who loves each other without any expectations and beyond the helm and one person who pines on the loosest wire of hope for getting to her beloved.

I personally think in this relation both Karan and Tanya were at fault, they couldn't find a solution to challenges laid before them and went with the flow, Tanya willingly and Karan unwillingly, only one innocent was Nandani who loved and sacrificed without a frown.

Makers at the end couldn't get a reason to remove Tanya from the equation so they took the easiest route to make Tanya completely evil..

P.S.. i actually wanted to see more of Manthan and Nandani was expecting them to be next Tulsi Karan, but that never happened, Manthan was completely forgotten and then it was like KN had only Bhoomi and Parth

Ansh and tanya were hurdles in karan-nandini's path to provide turn and twist in their love story .....at last karan-nandini overcome the hurdles and get married again. Akasdeep's(Ansh) character was originally brought into the show for only four months . However He mentioned in an interview how people used to call him and tell him that nandini belongs only to karan and he should stay away from her . Even when hiten-gauri visited the winners of a starplus contest , those families told them they wanted karan to beat ansh and that Nandini belonged to karan. People were like united karan-nandini. Because of this massive reaction Ekta dragged karan-nandini-ansh triangle from 4 months to 10/11 months . Now coming to the Karan-nandini-tanya triangle. Tanya was evil from the start , she is the one who helped ansh in separating karan-nandini and they both got success. If someone is capable of helping a friend separate two lovebirds she can certainly turn evil again for her one-sided love . Therefore , showing tanya's evil side was logically consistent with her character. So i don't see any lack of writing in this. According to me , tanya was never truly geunine. It's not like tanya changed from goodness of her own heart when she fell in love with karan she stopped supporting ansh and started supporting karan-nandini. After ansh's fiasco when karan-nandini were getting married tanya said to herself I am not fully happy because I love karan so much , nandini tumhari khushi ko meri nazar na lag jaye . And that's what happened karan-nandini could only spent a few happy days together and then nandini went into coma while giving birth to bhoomi . Tanya was the first one who held bhoomi in her hands. No one told her to go and visit the baby. No one forced her to get married .it was karan who was forced to get married. If tanya wanted the well being of karan-nandini and wanted to raised bhoomi she can do it without marrying karan. Despite knowing karan never wanted to marry her , tulsi made him say yes to marriage, why did tanya agree to marry him ? During the saath pheras with tanya, karan stopped in the middle , realizing what he was doing. He said , no i can't do this. But bhoomi started crying so he continued pheras with nandini on his mind. So If tanya really loves karan why didn't she protest it ? Because if you truly love someone then you will see his happiness not urs and tanya was fully aware of karan's deep love for nandini and how difficult for him to do this marriage but tanya saw her happiness . Karan left his wedding anniversary with the news of nandini waking up from coma he forgot everything and happily run to meet nandini. Tanya didn't even take one minute to be happy that her best friend was out of a coma , all she cared about was her life and how she would lose karan now . When nandini returned to sn tanya would always cry around the house and leave making everyone feel bad . Nandini was dying to hear bhoomi call her maa because tanya had taught bhoomi called her maa and nandini massi maa. Before karan and tanya's marriage when bhoomi started speaking tanya taught her called her maa and the very first time bhoomi met nandini in the hospital during her coma days tanya told her she is ur maasi maa. Tanya left sn but never went away from karan-nandini's life she keept meeting boomi and whenever karan met her she made him feel gulity, pity and bad . She everytime cries, cribs and says main dukhyari main bechari . Although karan made it clear to tanya that he can't give her tanya rights of his wife but she still hanging on to him. When karan would be with nandini at home tanya kept calling him although karan scolded tanya didn't contact him everytime but tanya crying all the time . Post leap I hate whenever tanya says to karan I have taken care of your children what does mean? She accepted bhoomi as her daughter no one forced her and manthan is her own son. Love is not demanded through favours , yet tanya always tried to force karan to love her by reminding him of everything she had done for him. Tanya brought up manthan and bhoomi she had no right to fill bhoomi's mind against nandini. Tanya is actually the second woman in karan's life not nandini, but tanya manipulated the fact in front of manthan that's why he used to call nandini doosri aurat. when nandini comes back into the picture 20 years later , tanya turned completely evil again. we karan-nandini fans threw a party when karan slapped tanya , he severed all ties with her. karan-nandini take saath pheras and get married again. Karan-nandini's wedding night scene was the icing on the cake . Those episodes received the highest trps since the start of the third leap.
