No she got after Karan later, when she saw the intensity of love Karan had for Nandani (pretty much like how Meera fell for Mihir seeing his love for Tulsi)

They uselessly changed Pari's character as she needed to be Tulsi's parchai..

But I don't think you need to become a doormat to be Tulsi's parchai.

They should have either had Munni/Vrinda as this generation's lead or else had Pari holding onto herself. Even after redemption she should be confident to call out the wrongs
