I think she’s fine. She simply doesn’t interact with the family as she did before. She’s not the kind to enjoy fights nor incite them.

She perhaps also feels like she failed as the current matriarch of the family when she let Gayatri arm-twist her somehow into allowing Noyna and her family into SN. So she keeps to herself. It hurts when you see a family descend from what it was to what it becomes, especially if it ends up like this.

If Karan and Nandini had eloped before Nandini's marriage with Ansh, then all these problems had never occurred. See now how peacefully they are living in US away from SN

With all the discussions of S1 I don’t even see this season as the exact continuation of S1 because so many things are different here than what was in S1. Like Kesar Anupam had only 3 daughters with none named as Pari but here all of them are no more and instead we get Rithik, Angad and Pari who we never saw in S1. Tulsi and Mihir were in 80s or something and had white hair by the end of the OG Kyunki. Mihir was a dementia patient too from what I read/heard/remember. Bhoomi doesn’t exit. Sahil’s children are different than what we saw of in S1. Manthan doesn’t exist and so may other changes. So for me this is like an alternative universe or reboot of Kyunki many stuffs still the same from S1 but a lot is also different. That Ronit’s Mihir also doesn’t exist for me. Based on this s1 they are showing Mihir being with Mandira when he was having memory loss and that was the time he had Karan. That’s why also they are showing flashbacks of Amar’s Mihir when Mandira was pregnant

All of this is secondary, they’ve not even kept the bare minimum - the timeline accurate with the original season. Right now Tulsi was supposed to have had multiple adult grandchildren many of whom were also married… instead we see Tulsi raising three kids of her dead cousin and her almost husband who are close to age with Karan’s children than Karan himself.

More than that according to this show Ba died 25 years ago(i mean 25+6 years ago from now) and it was then 38 years since Mihir Tulsi marriage, so somehow Ba died within 13 years of their marriage, that means all the children were preteen at the time of her death

Now unless in this universe Karan had come with his plot as a 10-11 year old child, Ba and Karan never met

If they wanted to introduce adult grand children than what is the point of Rithik, Angad and Vrinda because all this time I was thinking they randomly brought these 3 as Kesar’s children because they didn’t want to show TuHir as too old by introducing them with their grandchildren. But then they bring Parth and introduce him as an adult. If they wanted to bring another member to bring tracks to the show then they should’ve just brought 4 adopted children from Kesar, so they didn’t have to bring Parth. But since they brought Parth and even other adult grandchildren then why even introduce Angad rithik and Pari who no one had any connection to? They could’ve them just started the show from Parth and other grandchildren and could’ve said their parents passed away or something and that’s why TuHir are taking care them
